So glad the school fair went well for you today, your makes are always gorgeous.
No still no snow here. To be honest I don't want it as it will mean a 4 1/2 mile walk each way to my new job on Monday. That would not be fun!
:wave:Hi Jowri - nice to see you posting again, hope you are keeping well:wave:
Thank you:) - good luck for Monday, hope your first day at work goes really well for you.The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -

Thank you all for the kind words, OH phoned the police station and nothing had been handed in but I'm still married OH tells me!!! Blast! I was so hoping that someone else would take him on and do his washing or just do his washing, he is worse than dirty kids!:D:D
Dragonllew what a carp thing to happen just before Christmas, I do hope your OH finds something very very soon.
My OH's job is on the line and we wont know till March next year. Still, my son is coming home this Christmas from Canada, forget the turkey, I'm eating those gorgeous grandchildren of mine.
PepPop lovely news for Mr PepPop.
Happy Cake Day to all the birthday girls and although it's pretty cold but no sign of any snow I might just get the fleecy all in one winter cozzie out and tackle that cake, well...... somebody has to do it.
rainmac, so sorry the boys didn't make it to see the white beardy bloke, I bet they were disappointed. The lights in Regent Street were beautiful advertising the Narnia Christmas film ( I love books and I've only seen one Narnia film) They had those big nets draped across the road, it looked lovely, sadly we didn't get to see Oxford Street. Fortnum & Mason's window display was amazing.
The afternoon tea in London was so yummy, we were on the last sitting and didn't leave the hotel till 8.45pm, straight into a mini bus so no travelling by tube or train as they are up the creek until the Olympics are over. We motored past the main Olympic stadium and WOW! it's impressive but the railway and tube system are just not geared up for the amount of people that will want to travel. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
I'm here and not journeying to London
, DS1 says he feels better but he is completely washed out bless him, I didn't have the heart to bundle him in the car and head off so he and I have stayed at home (in the warm!) and OH has taken DS2. I am hoping Selfridges will give them DS1's pressie for them to bring home.
CT, best of luck with your job tomorrowI think you can send a card cos we know who are partners are, I am going to
PONR, so glad your fair went well, I knew it would :j
Dragonllew, sounds like Aimee had a fab party
I am hoping to catch up on some blogging and make a card or two today x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Oh dear Rainmac.:( What a shame:( Never mind there is always next year. Hope your DS feels better after a day with mummies tlc. I'm sure your littlie will bring his big brother a present home, even if its not from the man himself
Take care xx

Hope eveyone is keeping warm in this cold weather, its minus 6 here in not so sunny Donny! While I have been drinking a cuppa 2 Thomsons jets have flown out from the airport, I hope all the lucky people on board are flying to somewhere a bit warmer!!
We had a few people buying extra bread yesterday and we didn't have much left by dinner time. We had lots of fruit pies left over but all the creamy stuff went, I think I would have prefered pie and custard
I am hoping we have some good weather for next weekend cos my DS2 is coming up from Plymouth with my gorgeous grandaughter (3) for the weekend and I want nice clear roads for him. I'm so looking forward to seeing them both, webcam just isn't the same0 -
I'm heading up to York in a couple of weeks so I want the roads clear too, flourgirl, it'll be lovely to have cuddles from your granddaughter as it will be from mine. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0

I think the secret santa budget is no more than £10:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
