    Evening all,

I have a couple of quick (and silly) questions to ask before I head to bed...

I'm thinking about asking for a Cuttlebug for Christmas. I guess that a few of you have one.

What's so good about them and are they worth the money? Do they just do embossing or can you do die-cutting too? Would you be able to use Nesties in them so that you could cut scalloped circles?

    Thanks in advance!
I've got a cuttlebug and it does all of the above I choose it because it folds up so is smaller to store, I probably use it for something on most of my cards so for me it was a good buy hth

I bought a Bug recently when I was in the US and I love it also. I've used it to cut and emboss and recently used it to cut felt and fabric shapes as well!!!! As dragonllew said - it folds up small and takes up little space.

I love mine! It die cuts and embosses. Cuts scalloped everything using nesties and you can use other dies in it too.

Madfrog - hope you have a good night out. Yes, I read 61 hours on holiday & was given the next one in the series but it seemed a bit flat & lacking, maybe because I read it too soon after 61 hours.

flourgirl - hope you feel more rested tomorrow & get time to craft.

I'm struggling to find time to craft and next week looks impossible. Can we postpone Christmas 'til 25 January I might be ready by then............ :rotfl:

Ok then, next question will be.....where is the best place to buy one from and get a really good deal?
  • Flying-fresian the cheapest place I've seen is craftsuperstore - and they have been reliable when I've ordered from them.

Paddington and Marg - Will have to try a few of those authors, I love thrillers and murder mystery books.

Had to drop my son off at a first aid course this morning (he does army cadets), so up early on a sunday! He had to be there for 8.45am and we had to pick others up on the way too. It was even earlier yesterday (8am!), but luckily another mum did that run.

CG, that's great news that your mum is feeling a bit more comfortable and they don't think the lump is cancerous. I have similar 'issues' with my delicate brother. He can handle a 16 hour day in a very stressful job but not family stuff, he's always been the same bless him *rainmac rolls her eyes* ;)

Rusty, another challenge is a great idea, the more the merrier I say and I have been carp with the card swap this month and not arranged one :o Will give December a miss too but if anyone else wants to arrange them please feel free :) I get my labels from Vistaprint ;)

Flourgirl, hope you get some time to relax and do some crafting. I am desperate to make a few cards just because I want to but haven't had the energy or time to do so, hopefully later today will be the time ;)

DS1 played his first competitive footie games yesterday and his team won 8-0 and 6-2 :j Goodness knows how, beginners luck I think :p We then went to see friends who have moved away recently and had a lovely time, very tired today but need to crack on with washing and ironing while OH takes DS1 to rugby. Off to Bella Italia for tea, can't wait as I love the food :)
