CG That's good news if they don't think it's cancer, thinking of you and your family

Louby Some people are just nasty, if you don't think you can confront her as Wifey suggested then just ignore her, bullies get bored when they get no reaction

    CT
    Congratulations on your new job

Paddington That did make me laugh about your OH, mine is just the same, although it's the 'hangover' day that irritates me as he can't understand that no I don't want to spend all day watching rubbish TV giving him a cuddle just because he is poorly sick :D I love thriller books never heard of that author, will have to investigate.

Going to tidy my craft room as never got round to it yesterday, then hopefully some blog hopping and make some more christmas things

Padster & Mad Frog - I've read a couple of Linwood Barclay's books & really enjoyed them, not his latest ones yet though. If you like those (I sound like Amazon)! you may also like books by Peter James - set in Brighton & all have 'Dead' in the title. I was in a bookshop last year browsing, as you do, & 2 separate guys recommended them to me! So I bought one & since have read them all. DH has also read & enjoyed them. Best read in sequence. I can post one to you if you want to try.........

Oh & have you tried Lee Child's Jack Reacher books? the early ones are good but now they've got a bit formulaic (sp?) .........
  • afternoon all,

CGC I am so pleased to hear they don't think its cancerous. ((Hugs)) to you and your family.

I've been very naughty today. Went out to get some rock-a-blocks as i'm no good at stamping with normal acrylic blocks so thought I would invest! Unfortunately it led me to spend nearly £50 getting more promarkers, some of the woodland animal collection that Do crafts have brought out and some card! The woman in the shop was laughing saying that she sees it all the time, including the husbands standing behind the customers complaining at what's being spent!

Oh well, no excuse now, better get crafting!

    Love to everyone

    Vicki

Rusty - I was tempted to go the Max show but I daren't I've spent loads recently and I know I would be tempted :o let us know what it was like though please x
Louby - OMG cant believe that grown women who should know better can act like children!! I think you may need to have a quiet word with her or ask your friend if she can try and uncover what you have supposed to said/done - hope it gets resolved soon ((hugs))
    Ct :Twell done:T

I might need to borrow The Wife to come and sort the problem I am having with 3 (the mobile phone co) aargh nightmare that doesnt look like it will end!! And having just read loads of complaints forums on the internet about the carp service I have a feeling its never going to get resolved!!

Anyhoo going to try and tidy up my little desk it is a total mess and I keep losing things a grey promarker has gone mia so keep me covered guys I'm going in!!!
  • What a miserable day today and I am not in a good mood as nothing seems to be going right! I was going to do some crafting but have decided not to as I know I will just muck it up and get more annoyed.

The main thing that has annoyed me is that on Facebook the people that do the Payvment Shop application have brought in a new way for shipping which is not really relavant to the UK at all and they have removed all of my postage costs on every item in my shop. I've just posted an 'irate' message on their message board about it but wanted to advise anyone on here who has a shop on their FB group that they need to look at their shipping options as they will all be gone and might be set on 'Free Shipping'.

CT - forgot to say earlier congrats on getting your new job, hope it goes really well for you.

CT Huge Congratulations on your new job! :T:T

CG I'm so glad your mum has had some good news. Inside outs ready for Tuesday. Sending you Hugs

Rusty Cuttlebug at the ready if you need backup

PONR You would think they would have to consult with you before changing your postage options - that's really bad - what if you hadn't noticed it!

Wifey A huge Thank You! :T:T My Postie delivered an envelope earlier so now that I've done the housework and made some soup I'm off to play.

Hope everyone's enjoying their weekend. I'm off to blog hop and carry on fixing my digi and watch the rugby all the same time - if I come back on cross-eyed later you'll know why. :D

Can't remember who was asking about the Papermill shop in Livingston....?

I went there today and found it ok, but not worth a special trip for to be honest. I bought a Penny Black stamp and a V&A background stamp, but was disappointed that they didn't have more patterned papers.

Sorry I couldn't remember who was asking :o
