Good morning all.
CG So sorry to hear about your mom, what a dreadfully long wait for an "urgent" appointment considering her history. The GP who told her to take Ibuprofen sounds about as good as those at our surgery! Good for her going private, which is what DH did recently because of his circumstances. Hopefully the outcome will be nowhere near as bad as you fear. Thinking of you all and sending hugs.
I've just heard my 86 year old mom, who I haven't been able to see for 2 years because of DH's illness and where she lives, had a fall yesterday, luckily indoors but had to spend the day in hospital. Nothing broken but she's quite shaken. My brother lives close so is checking up on her.
Can't believe all this carp that's happening lately.
We had the really strong winds the last couple of days and being on the coast we now have a beach in the garden and a beach in our side yard! Must try and get it swept up today as it's much calmer. Wont be able to get it out of the borders though, you can't see any soil, just sand!
I might try and get into my craft room today if I'm in the mood, I'd like to make a few more Christmas cards if I can.
Poppy's started to loose her puppy teeth, finding them all over the place and she constantly has a blood-y mouth. Yuk - I can't even pick them up as it turns my stomach. I'd never have made a nurse :rotfl: .
Congrats to the latest winners :T.
Big hugs to everyone. I'll try and get back to normal next week and hopefully try and keep up on here and blogs.0 -
Morning ladies!
I'm going to be buying a printer todayI think I'm going with the Epson SX515W as recommended by some of you - it's showing as £60 on the PC World website and it has 10% off there too :j:j
Plans for today are quite varied - we're off out for dinner for a wee treat, but I'm hoping to get some cards done this afternoon too.
Happy Weekend to all.
cg - hugs to you and yours. Hope all goes well with your mum's appointment Xxx0 -

Ladies, Can you help please?
I'm getting into a right old pickle trying to enter into blog challenges. I get so mixed up I can't even try to explain where I might be going wrong........though I think it's in how I link their blog back to mine, each time I do it (even in one post!) it comes out different.......
Can anyone post a simple step by step way to link entries back and forth from my blog to the challenge blog?
Thank you0 -
Hi ladies, ooh Marg I think I know what you mean - but dont really know how to explain if that makes sense - can I let one of the more experienced computer savvy ladies explain.
cgc - (((big hugs))) to you and yours, hope all goes well for your mum - keeping everything crossed.
Congrats to the latest winners.
