  • Morning!

A bit of a miserable day weatherwise so far. It was really cold here last ight.

I've been reading all of the posts but not had musch to post about as not making any cards at the moment!

CGC - sorry to hear that your mum has been unwell. Hopefully, the tests will put your minds at ease. It is so worrying when you know there has been a problem in the past as you automatically think it's going to be the same thing again. Hopefully it will be something that they can sort out for your mum.

Craftygranny - we live opposite a doctors surgery and people always park across our drive as well. We are forever telling people, it's just plain rude and very thoughtless of people.

I still have Candy on my Homepage and so far only 9 people have entered so do please come and have a go!!! The more the merrier. Thanks to the 9 of you that have entered!!!

Congrats to the winners - well done!!!

  • Tomsmom- do try and get to your craft stash, i found it kept my mind busy but used a different part of my head. hope that makes sense. hubby has said that i should try and craft later, to keep busy.

padster- i find if people make a big fuss, it's usually because they know they are at least a little at fault. i hope you feel better today, when i had my bump, i was a bit shaky but i was told to get straight back into the car, and keep driving to get over it xxx

well done to our winners x

Padster, hope you're feeling better about you minor mishap yesterday. Please tell OH that you are far far more precious than what is really a baked bean can on four wheels. Not a hair on your head was broken and the only dent that matters is the one in your pride.

My OH is a HGV driver and a very good one too but hear him go on about when I hit the gate post (the car and the gate swapped paint) talk about the halo shining and as yet I've never managed to put a car in a ditch like he has.
 Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"!

Afternoon all. Well I didn't manage to get to my craft desk yesterday, never mind, tomorrow's another day.

I went to see my grandson lay a wreath on behalf of the Youth Club this morning at the Remembrance Service, also grandaughter was in the parade with the Brownies. Not sure they fully understand what it's all about though!

Padster Oops! Hope you're not in the dog house too long. In the grand scheme of things a little dent in the bumper is not much to get worked up about.

Can anyone help me with some freebie digi stamps someone on here posted about the other day please.

http://www.craftsonthenet.com/p3254/papercraft-essentials-issue-61-downloads/ These are the Fat Cat Fred digis from Papercraft Essentials. I've saved them on my computer and they are all on one A4 sheet and you can't cut them out as they are so close together.

How do I just cut one of the images from the page and insert it or paste it to another document?

I don't seem to be able to do anything with the Paint programme in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer as the page comes up so big you can't select the image as the whole image is too big to fit on the screen.

I'm probably being thick but it's driving me nuts. I want to use the images as they are so nice.

I've got Open Office and Lotus WordPro so could use either of them as my document.

Oh dear it has not been the best week for everyone on here has it? Let's hope that this week will be better for everyone!

:xmastree:Just a little reminder for everyone it is 41 days till christmas!!!!!! :santa2:

I need a little advice, is there a way you can set a post to come on at a particular time on the bl*gs? I need to post something for 6am our time soon and don't particullary want to get up just to make a post!! Can anyone help please?

Another reminder too my challenege closes at midnight tomorrow, it is a nice easy one CHRISTMAS

Sending hugs to everyone who wants or needs them!
  • TomsMom - I just did it using Paint.net - I opened it and then reduced the viewing size then selected the area I wanted and cropped to that. I then erased any unwanted overlap bits from other images. You should be able to copy and paste into any other document you have open then.

  • kms - you can do this by going into edit and then at the bottom click on post options - it gives you the option to the right to put a date and time in that you want to post it. Hopefully - that should work for you.

TomsMom - I just had a look in Microsoft Word and did it by cropping each picture, may take forever but it has worked for me.
