Plenty of freebie images and sentiments here but you may be some time
I'm right in the dog house - reversed out of the drive in OH's company car into a car that was parked blocking our lane and all hell has broken loose - I just didn't see it - only minor bumper damage to both cars as I was only going slowly and the turn is quite tight anyway - I don't know how many more times I can apologise - bottle of wine in the fridge is looking very inviting and I hardly ever drink anything anymore.
oh dear Padster, sending big hugs to you xx and in any case - what was the car doing blocking your lane?!! x0 -
tomsmom - sorry to hear about your mom (Tomsgrandmom?
) , sending big hugs xx

Padster, so sorry you are in the doghouse, it's only a car isn't it, he'll get over it xxx
We've been shopping today to get some more ideas from the boys about Xmas presents. Think we are now sorted for what else we are going to get them. It was so awfully busy and everyone seemed in such a bad mood
Was hoping to do some crafting tonight but done the preschool meeting minutes instead, can life get any more dull on a Saturday night? Errr, yep it can as OH has just turned on Call of Duty! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Marg - just emailed you, let me know if it helps x2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000

Padster - (((Hugs))) hopefully by now the wine will have done the trick! As long as you are OK cars can be fixed.
I am no stranger to gate posts & neighbours carsand from my experience of such 'mishaps', the wondering how the he** it happened, the frustration/anger with yourself that it happened, the shock and the embarrassment will wear off in a day or two and if not..... purely for medicinal purposes...... more alcohol.
Rainmac - yes it can get more dull! At least you have achieved something. We've been watching the Festival of Remembrance from the Albert Hall which made me cry........which it does every year
I never learn.......

We queued for 35 mins to get out of our road today there were so many cars streaming into and out of asda car park and no one would let us out . They blocked the bottom of the road and just sat looking the other way when they couldn't get in the car park . Oh well only a few more weeks and we'll be back to normal. It was the same last xmas . Only another 2 weeks and the cheeky beggars will be trying to park on our drives cos the car parks full.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Craftygranny - when we went to Wembley in May folk were renting out their driveways near the tube stations as far out as Stanmore - Perhaps you should make up a price list for your gatepost :rotfl: Sorry......... it must be soooo frustrating - we live near a big roundabout and getting on to the main road there can be quite tough.0

ooh marg now that's a thought. I could buy even more stash then lol. That's the price we pay for living so close at xmas. unfortunately the only way out involves using the tiny road into asda car park. We have a big roundabout too when we get off our road onto the car park one then it's straight out onto the roundabout. It's only for a few weeks just means we have to leave over half an hour early to go anywhere.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Sorry I've been away so long - I've been obsessed with Christmas fair preparations for what seems like ages - well 6 weeks at least but am hoping to make my christmas cards sometime very soon. I know what I want to do and am doing them all the same (ish) this year so that should minimise the amount of time it takes - I'd quite like to make some pressies this year too - will have to see how much time I have left.
The Christmas fair was yesterday and we raised £3200 for the school. Woop Woo!
Huge hugs to CGC and anyone else who needs them.0
