MyGeorgie and Skiergirl - so sorry to hear of your losses.
Tomsmom, I hope the hernia op goes well andwish you all the best for the hard times that you both face.

Oh b*gger. Postie has just been and brought OH a letter with results of his CT scan last week showing lymph nodes in an area of his chest not previously affected by the lymphoma. Urgent radiotherapy is being organised for him. He's got to pay for his Tuesday hernia op today so hopefully his other appointment wont come through until after then.
Absolute bummer. He'd done so well after his bone marrow transplant and was told only about 3 months ago he was in remission. Poor sod.
So sorry to moan, am just feeling so sorry for him ATM.
So sorry to hear your news - hope the radiotherapy zaps the nodes and your OH gets his hernia op asap. Sending big hugs to you and your OH xJust letting you know that my MIL passed away earlier today. So there wont be much crafting going on here for a while.
Sending hugs to all who need them

Morning everyone,
Just a quickie, i haven't read anything yet but had to share this freebie with you :rotfl:It reminds me of my MIL
Also i can now share what i have been dying to tell you all, I won the water challenge on Stampin with the Dragon a couple of weeks ago and was asked to be a Guest Designer!!!!! It is only the one time, but i feel so pleased!! :j:j:j
Congrats, well done!!!!!Snipped!
PONR - thank you so much for your parcel. I love them and sure they will be well received.
Your welcome - glad you liked them xMorning all - quick visit from me cos I'm going to the SECC :j
I had a really bad day yesterday - don't really want to go into it just now - but OH decided I needed a major cheer up so he's giving me my birthday money early and is taking me to the SECC to spend it. He's off for his haircut so I'd better get my bum off the laptop and go get ready. Catch you all tonight if I make it out aliveWish I'd known earlier we could've met up with Rusty and Mr Rusty and the two OH could have consoled themselves while we shopped.
Hope today was a better day for you and that you had a fab time at the SECC.
I've not been posting much recently but have been reading posts. I've started some more Christmas cards but I have a few things on the go at once so when my glitter is drying I'm sewing sock monkeys and making bag charms!!!
I'm abit behind on blogger also and it keeps logging me out after a couple of comments! The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -
Have i missed the challenge deadline? i did the card but been really busy with half term to blog it and my laptop doesn't take my camera's memory card so it isn't as easy for me to blog all the time. Took my nappy cake yesterday to a school for a teachers leaving present and another member of staff has ordered one
and they want me to send them lots of business cards so they can put them in the staff room of both their schools.

PONR - thanks for your reply.
Amazing, that it's the end of October and in the last week I've picked two small bunches of sweetpeas! Each time, I think it'll be the last but there are still a few blooms hanging in there.0 -

Hugs to mygeorgie.
To everyone else, I am new to the thread, but an old hand at card making. Do you all have cupboards filled with bits because "I'm sure I can make a card design with that"?
I now have 2 books of curtain fabric swatches in deep blue and gold and no idea how to use them.
PIXIf you found this post useful please will you click "thank you"? It cheers me up. :j0
