Oh b*gger. Postie has just been and brought OH a letter with results of his CT scan last week showing lymph nodes in an area of his chest not previously affected by the lymphoma. Urgent radiotherapy is being organised for him. He's got to pay for his Tuesday hernia op today so hopefully his other appointment wont come through until after then.
Absolute bummer. He'd done so well after his bone marrow transplant and was told only about 3 months ago he was in remission. Poor sod.
So sorry to moan, am just feeling so sorry for him ATM.
Sending hugs and positive thoughts xx:wave: Kate :hello:0 -

Pixielation - Welcome to the thread, do you have a blog?
Everyone who went to the SECC, get some pics on your bl*gs of your new stash!
I am debating going to the NEC next week, but can you buy tickets on the door? My hubby has said if i go he will come with me  which means i can't spend so much money lol :rotfl:
For all of you who make coaster calendars. what paper do you use to cover them? just normal craft paper? What sort of glue do you use? Sorry for all the questions, but i have decided to cover my cork coasters to make some calendars.
Also where is the cheapest/best place to buy cellophane cones from?
Also i am after some baubles i can decorate for the christmas tree this year, anyone know where i can get them from too? I'm not bothered if they are glass or plastic, but i want to be able to open them.
Again sorry for all the questions. :rotfl:0 -

To everyone else, I am new to the thread, but an old hand at card making. Do you all have cupboards filled with bits because "I'm sure I can make a card design with that"?
I now have 2 books of curtain fabric swatches in deep blue and gold and no idea how to use them.

I have a whole room full of stuff like that lol. supposed to be a craft room and only just enough room to squeeze in . stuff stacked everywhere lol.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

I use normal craft paper but some can be thicker than others so i pick out the thicker ones but i have done them with the others .
I use dst to stick the papers on.
cones usually from ebay but they aren't cheap i can't link direct to ebay as it won't let me sign out of my account to do a link so look here
Baubles hobbycraft were doing a box of 10 clear plastic ones that you could open up for 1.99 but i think you may be able to open up a lot of the ones in the pound shops too.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
