Happy new year everyone :j Hi rbk, lovely to 'see' you on here xxx

We had a nice day yesterday, OH and I went shopping on our own to sort out DS2's birthday pressies. I picked up crackers and cards for next Xmas and bought the boys some new clothes, not all in the sale but we did pretty well. We also bought furniture in Ikea! We then went for something to eat and to see Mission Impossible at the cinema. We got home about 11pm and started to put together the bookcase we bought in Ikea for DS2's room. My mum phoned at 5 minutes to midnight to say DS2 was inconsolable crying saying his ears hurt :( so we saw in the new year bombing it down the motorway to pick him up. Needless to say we didn't make it to my nan's today as DS2 had been poorly and we had very little sleep. He has been much better in himself today but we will be taking yet another trip to the GP on Tuesday to try and get this sorted out. It's his birthday on Saturday so I want him at 100% so he will enjoy it properly.

We've got panto tickets for tomorrow and then OH is back to work on Tuesday. My house is a tip but we have cleared away Xmas today so I am going to spend the next 2 days cleaning and sorting us out for going back to school on Wednesday.
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

Instead of making cards today I finished my first two craft storage units. More shabby than chic but I love them as they are completely customised to my needs. One is for Promarkers and the other for distress inks, perfect pearls etc. pictures in my usual place- an Mse solution for my non-mse stash!!

Rain mac- hope Ds2 feels better quickly. Enjoy the panto!

DH got me one for christmas and we have just got round to updating it (over 2 hours! oooft) and then done a quick update on my expression 2. The thing is I'm just getting to know my gypsy and it seems to be showing me settings for the cricut imagine with options to print etc.....is this normal??:o

TIA to anyone who can help me I feel like pulling my hair out as we have been trying sort things out all night!

Twinks, there may be a bit of hair pulling with the Gypsy until you get it just right. Sign up to the website and have a look on the forums because the people that post are those that have gone through the same sort of problems. Also, update regularly (says she who doesn't do it often enough!) especially if there are any freebies going. Don't be afraid to ask as there is often a poster who actually works for Provocraft, also, it can be a bit slow on the site. (more hair pulling!)

I'm not sure but check out the forums on Splitcoast Stampers they might have some learned souls who have Gypsy experience.

Thanks everyone :D I'm already following some crafty blogs but I'll find some more :)

Willow, join Splitcoast Stampers, it's free here check out their gallery and use the 'search' facility too for anything specific. Also, check their tutorials, loads of ways how to fold for different styles of cards. If there is a particular maker you like, say 'Lily of the Valley' check out their designers and follow their blogs too and check out the galleries on the company's website too, heaps of inspiration there as well.
