I've just posted the winner of my blog candy and it's someone from here :j
Rusty, will email you a piccie of the envelope later today x
Hope everyone's ok, it's so cold here today, I'm having a day at home to catch up on the ironing and tidying after having our living room floor done in the week. We ordered a new dining room table and chairs yesterday, can't wait for them to be deliveredIt's half term here this coming week so I am hoping for a bit of time to get some crafting done. We're then off to Center Parcs the week after that, so looking forward to it. They are going to have a firework display on the Thursday evening which I am hoping will be good.
I've ordered 3 of the new Magnolia Christmas stamps from Crafting by Kaz. Her prices are cheaper than everywhere else and free postage so I thought it would be rude to only order oneI've also just had a splurge on some new MME papers and a Pink Cat Studio stamp now please someone take my cards and Paypal account access away from me
Hugs to everyone xxx

Look out I'm back!...........Trouble!
I've been away on holiday and had hoped to drop by & keep up whilst I was in Lanzarote but couldn't. I haven't tried to catch up on blogs at all yet.........
Oh! how I've missed you all and thought about you often.
Thank you to those who missed me. I didn't like to say I was going away (same reasons as Gemma) We got back very late on Thursday and I was determined to read up to date before I posted (only 36 pages!) and I've done it!:j In between having to go to dentist to have a tooth out & suffering afterpains which were worse than the before ones.
OAP - so sorry to read of your bereavements, ((hugs)) I do hope the rule of 3 does not apply.
Tomsmum - I haven't forgotten about asking my friend about problems walking Poppy just not had chance yet, but it seems you may have it sussed. Sorry to hear that your DH had to have more tests and hope like mad the results will be fine.
Craftygranny - I don't think the folk who do the hospital tests are allowed to tell results, even though they know as much or more than the Docs about what is going on! Same has happened to me several times. Fingers crossed for you all.
Rainmac - Thank you for the parcel that was waiting for me when I got home, you are so very kind. I'm really glad your Mum hasn't had a even a mini stroke. Did they say what it had been?
KarenCooke - sorry I missed your birthday - hope it was a good one!
Wifey - Sorry to hear they cancelled your op - you'll be so healthy when you go in, just hope you are also when you come out so you can enjoy your 2 weeks off. x
ScattyJan - Hope your renovations are now going ahead without mishaps - I hate having jobs done on the house even though I use it as a good excuse not to dust.
Rusty - Hope your MRI isn't as bat as you fear. I know you are a nice person and as far as I'm concerned Royal Mail deserve all that you can throw at them, but not sure 'they' care. Individuals I'm sure, do their best (and our postie is nice even though he delivers at 2pm most days) but I think like all big organisations like BT, Banks, DWP they've just got too big & complicated to be managed well.
.................Sorry I'm rantingI'll pop back later when I hope I'll have remembered some more of what I've read since I got back.
Welcome Newbies and Returnees :wave:0 -

Sorry, snipped you.
So nice to see you back, hope you enjoyed your holiday but oooooh, toothache, ouch, not nice!
Well done on catching up on 36 pages! I'm way behind on blogs.
No problem about asking your friend. She's doing reasonably well on the extending lead. Bit of bribery comes in handy ( two toots on the whilstle and a bits of liver!) if she plonks down and she soon gets up and comes! Her walks are mainly runs on the beach or in the woods/fields and those are fine as we're happy for the lead to be out full length. I'd love her to walk to heel on a shorter lead when we're walking by the road or if we go to the shops but hopefully that will come in time. That's why we tried puppy school but decided not to go back as we didn't like the person running it.
artydoll Sorry to read your OH has been poorly, hope he's better soon.0 -
