HELLLLP I've just downloaded 2 digistamps I bought from an american site and they're "zipped" I'm totally confused (no change there then !)
Please could one of you lovely folk give me some sort of instruction what to do next ?
The website I purchased from suggested a free unzipping download which I did but 'haven't recieved an email to continue.I can look at these love digis but can't really do anything with them :(

    Another awoller saying hello.

Just trying to get back into crafting in time for Christmas now the kids are back at school. Done a few things recently, but now trying to get into making/stitching felt hearts (stuffed and filled with lavender scent) as 'drawer' smellies (not sure what they are actually called) but will be giving them as gifts to female rellies at Christmas. Once I have cut 4 hearts for each one out they are really easy to make and I think they look fab.

    Hello to all the newbies.

Just read last 2 pages, so congratulations on your new job Rainmac. Sounds like it will be ideal for you, and I am sure you will do fabulously, and you will get so much satisfaction from helping the little ones. Contgratulations on your win too.

Macma - re the zip file, if you save the zipped file to you pc, you should just be able to open the folder (wherever you have saved it) and it will show the files withing the folder, and then you can open each attachment in the zipped folder. Does that make sense?

If you are still struggling, PM me and i'll try and help.

Hugs to all, will try to really get back into posting again.

    xx

  • Hey every one, just dropping in to say hi
  • Morning ladies!

If anyone's looking to get rid of more stash, I thought I would let you know that it's free listing on Ebay this weekend. I need to go through my stamps and get rid of some :(

I've put two new cards on my blob if anyone wants a look. I plan to do more today as well if I can find some time!
Did I read that right?? More stamps??!! Not that I need anymore as bought yet another set after watching a docrafts demo at the Range today!! It's one of their new Christmas clear stamps - the sleigh. The lady doing the demo made a amazing black & white design with it that I might use and adapt slightly for some of my cards this year :)
  • Morning every one, man I did not sleep that well last night and I am exhausted today. Oh well no rest for the wicked as they say lol cause I have to go to work today.

Maybe have found something to do on Tuesday when its the anerversary of my grand ma's death. The place she was cremated may have a memorial garden that I can go lay flowers in. My mum is going to phone them and ask. If I can go lay flowers I will do and I am going to take pictures, when I get the copies I will make a book dedicated to my gran.

Any way have a good crafty day

  • Making some headway with the first lot of christmas cards - stamped, coloured and cut out 20 LOTV images and now putting ribbon on the cards. Bit of a minor issue with the backing papers though as realising I didn't have enough of the paper I wanted to use (from a free paper stack) I popped to the shops to get another copy of the magazine only to find they're on the new issue!! However a couple of people over on FB have said they might have it so fingers crossed!!

Bought a lovely corner punch that rounds the corners and puts holly leaves & berrys on - tested it and it worked perfectly. Used it on my sample card I've made up and it went wonky! Typical!!!!! lol!! :rotfl: Oh well, guess Dad will have to have that one - he wont mind :D

I've started Christmas cards too and they are the first cards I've entered for challenges. They are in the usual place- please let me know if I've done anything wrong!! I'm quite pleased with them- thanks so much for all the inspiration you've all provided.
I couldn't add a picture of my card when posting links on the challenges as the file was too big. Does anyone else find this and how can you get round it??

  • Hi everyone, long time no post, but still reading and this thread regularly. I went to the craft show at Harrogate last weekend and
saw a card demo using a cracker template which could also be used
to make little gift boxes. The problem is I can't remember the nake of the company doing the demo. Can anyone help me out here? please.
    Thanks ladies
