    It's not a proper bank holiday :(

*Pootles off to work (for a bank!)*

Enjoy your day off if you have one ladies :D
  • I get a day off today but only cause I do not work Mondays at the moment. Glad that I am not in this IBS is doing my head in.

Ok questions my crafty friends, I swapped some stamps for some stamped images on Face book. The images are fantastic on good card but my ink is still running and making it look like I have colored out of the lines. Any ideas how to stop this from happening cause I do not want it to look messy.

    2) Some are looking like they are sat or leaning on something how would you use these as I am clueless today my brain is not working.

    3) Some are stamped close togher as they are done on A4 sheets, how would you tackle the job of cutting them out.

Have a wee look on the Crafty Funtimes album in my FB profile - I did a card for my mum recently which had a sitting Tilda image on it. I cut out a panel of contrasting cardstock, then cut out the image so it looked like she was sitting on it. I think it's on my blob too if you want a look.
  • Cheers FF, will go take a look.

Zoe, cutting them out as FF said is a good idea. Can you cut out the images that are close together so you can use them? I had problems with ink running when I used Stazon with Promarkers so switched to Memento ink and never had the problem again.

    Hope everyone's ok x

    Good morning all!

Yesterday's "me time" didn't get used for crafting, as it was nice & sunny here I did lots of washing and did a mega tidy of the garden ready for winter so am hoping to get to the garden centre later for a few plants - it's gloomy here today and I'm currently doing more domestic stuff. Can't seem to settle to crafting which is a shame as I have a few cards I need soon.

Mygeorgie - I went to Harrogate but didn't see that demo - sorry - I wonder if Craftwork Cards could tell you who was there & the layout of the stalls which might help you.......

rainmac - when do you start your new job?

Artydoll & CT - :wave:glad to see you
  • i have a bit of a strange question. My friends dog died, should i send her a card? We don't see each other much any more but we used to see each other all the time and i always loved her dog he was an old english sheepdog ( dulux dog)
i didn't know if it was a strange thing to do, she is a very sensitive person and i don't want to upset her by either doing it or not.

We go out as a group of friends for a meal every few months but i won't see her until nov now. She sent me a txt to tell me and i replied but feel it wasn't enough.
i was thinking of a thinking of you card.

Jellie have you tried Picassa, it's a free download from Google. It will organise your photos for you too. I'm assuming your piccies go into folders when you upload them? You can then crop them to a smaller photo or lighten them within the program and then upload them to challenges. It's the only one I use for my blog, if you need any help just let me know.

Louby, that's a really nice thought and I'm sure she would be pleased to know somebody cared enough.

    Everyone!
