  • thanks i made her a card, after all he was like a child to her especially as she can't have children herself. I have never had a dog so i don't know what it's like but having him for 12 years and now he has gone it must be heartbreaking for her. i felt it needed to be acknowledged

i did a simple one using lotv die cut and sentiment.

I really want the xmas ones, they are doing them as a bundle i think at the moment. Love the stamps but can't really afford to buy any at the moment.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)
Want to be fit for 30 not fat at 30

I've just made another card for the Craft Your Days challenge and put it in my little blob......shame I wrote down the wrong colours so Ican't enter it!! May try again tomorrow if I have time- have just remembered a birthday I need to make a card for on Thursday!

Louby- I bought a few LOTV Xmas die cuts and used them on my first cards. I'm probably going to get more to use as I have a lot more cards to make and they are lovely!!

  • Sorry folks - not sure where the time has gone. Been all over the place lately, Friday night/sat am couldn't sleep and was up til 3 (not doing anything in particular, just up), was out all day sat, spent sunday in my pjs, and today was up by about 8, pottered about in the am, went food shopping, came home, fell asleep on the sofa and then was in bed by 6.30. Woke up about 11.

I know it's about time for the CHANGE challenge to end, I was going to end it tonight but it's hard to draw a winner when you haven't even made a list of who's entered.

I'm tired again now, so am not going to be able to do it tonight.

I am going to set a deadline of 6.00pm on Wednesday evening so that should give time for any last minute stragglers to enter should they so wish.
  • sorry i have not been around for a while, been stupidly busy making save the dates and being ill and running around after my daughter.

I need to start making christmas cards soonish. Also made a start on a family photo album last night that was until hubby stacked the pages i had finished into a nice neat pile having not listened to my warning about all the glitters, glue and artwork still being wet, so had to spend an hour peeling them apart and trying to repair the damage. When i tried to work on it this morning my daughter tipped her beaker over some of the photographs so i am now only working on it when both hubby and child are out of the house lol.

I do have a question. I am looking at buying some new pens soon but i can not decide between promarkers, flexmarkers and spectrum noir. Which is ones are the best?
  • Hey guys, not a good day today my stomach is really bad today and its doing my head in. This is the second day of it being so nasty. I can not eat or drink anything as it sets it off and to be honest its doing my head in.

Been to lay flowers today in the garden (if thats what you can call it) where my grans ashes are scatterd. Feeling ok about it, just a little miffed that she did not get better.

Can anyone tell me which cardstock you use for digistamps .I've been using basic stuff and it's inclined to soak up the colour like blotting paper  and the best colours for flesh tones ?
I've got into this colouring lark, due in no small part to the inspiration from the lovely stuff on the blogs on here.I've been trawling the net for digi stamps-you can lose several hours without really trying,'tho I suspect I don't have to tell you folk that !:rotfl:
  • craftymum to a monkey - I'm a promarker girly - although I know Flourgirl loves her spectrum noirs and they are cheaper

macma - after several recommendations I'm using Staples Text and Graphic 160gsm - even better than the "special" marker card I have - it's not cheap as paper goes but is fab think I paid around £7 for 250 sheets

off to make a 3rd birthday card for an order (I work mainly for food :D ) and more stitching
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Snap -Paddingtondoo I'm also a promarker girl although I have bought some flexmarkers which arrived today and I also use the staples text & graphic paper
  • A third vote for promarkers here. I also have flexmarkers and love them, but would say they complement promarkers rather than replace them. Haven't tried spectrum noirs

Going to make a start on my list of entries tonight

Yep, I love my Spectrum Noir pens and they work well with Promarkers too, I also use the Text and Graphics from staples, it was under £7 last week when I bought a new pack.

There is an easy challenge over on Paper Creations Ink its "Buttons and Bows" hop over and have a look, I was a Guest Designer for this challenge :-)

Finally bought my wedding outfit yesterday, it was so stressing me out!! We went to York shopping and it would have been rude not to go into the Radley shop for a teeny tiny little treat :DWell I did NEED a new bag for the wedding lol got a nice little doggie keyring too oops!
