Double flash from camera on opposite side of road

It was at night but it was certainly similar to that....and then shortly after the road went uphill....

I've been trying unsuccessfully to find that bit of the road - how did you do it?

Do you reckon they paint the lines on both sides of the roads in case they choose to mount the camera on the other side of the road at some point?

Its either to catch people overtaking or just as a deterrent to people coming the other way.

Some Gatsos are sometimes turned to face the other way but the ones I've seen that do that are positioned in the centre of road.
