Not like i need sawdust for the gerbil or headphones for my ipod or anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -
Just had an email from ISC.
Looks a little dodgy TBHO (though I did signup with them years ago and not really bothered with any of their jobs.)
They want me to get certified to do a job.
They have provided login details

I had seen that they required certificates, but I've done mine and never ever seen a job!0 -

I keep getting emails from them about a local building society job with a good fee. Can't do it tho, as it may require a revisit and I'm just too limited with my schedule at the moment. The fee keeps going up too (a lot better than the other companies)
Someone on here mentioned recently that they do the odd job for them and they are ok (sorry, can't remember who??).
If the certification is the basic one, it is ridiculously easy.
Love the password though - won't forget that one:rotfl:January 2012 GC £296.96/£3000 -

Draw your plan first, just roughly, then go round the bays marking whats in them, and finally take the photos, do them in the same order as the bays so you know which is which.
They're quite straightforward really. Drawing up the planogram on Excel, however, took me forever!!!!
My advice would be to take your notes and to refer to them constantly. Again, its one of those that makes more sense wen you are there. They're only interested in the mens grooming, and its usually only a small section. Take a couple of pieces of blank paper, and something to lean on (clipboard or file etc). Start at one end and work down the aisle. I drew little boxes for each bay. Then put everything else on your paper in relation to the first aisle. They are only interested in the other products in the near vicinity.
Congrats for getting 3:T. The second one will be a wizz! And like TG said, its the xl results that will be more time consuming.0 -
Have done two jobs with ISC now. Would do more but the visit dates are from Monday to Friday during working hours. The certification is free and just requires you to answer a few multiple choice questions which are really easy to answer.
They mainly have mortgage and Building Society jobs. The Building Society ones are the ones GFK had last year.0 -
Ive just started doing Mystery shops (had my first one today). I know I need to tell HMRC somehow, but Im already employed and pay tax and NI through PAYE. Do I register as self employed ? and if I do, will I then have to tell my employer and do my own taxes.
Apologies if this has already been asked somewhere, (Ive read through loads of messages but cant seem to find the right answer).0 -

You still need to register as self-employed and do your tax's. Only once a year and not to hard. Just keep a record of the amount you get paid and then minus millage (40p per mile) and printing (6p per sheet) and thats your profit (which you will pay tax on)
If you read the first posts it has a very good guide for the tax side of things.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

thanks misssarahleigh. Just to be 100% clear. I can be PAYE and self employed at the same time ?0
