i am not working at the moment....
  • We have all noticed thee is a race to the bottom regarding fees. This is definitely a false economy since quite honestly, the better paid I am for a job - the more effort and info the client will get.

Sis has 2 friends/CEO's coming over and they want to ask me about it......they already seem to be thinking of quality as opposed to quantity. Also been asked to visit and report direct to them.

I agree with you here. I also input my reports so that those that pay best get entered first (while I'm still awake!). RE, GAP and other poorly paid companies always want their results on first. Doesn't work like that as far as I'm concerned. I always get them on before they are deallocated, but the companies which give me well paid jobs or regular work come first.

Unfortunately though these companies can get away with it, as due to a lot of people loosing their jobs, getting into more debt etc in the past few years with the way the economy has been, there are so many more people who are doing things like Mystery Shopping so they don't have to offer big incentives as lots of people have the 'well it's better than nothing' stance on it because the situation they have found themself in, for whatever reason, demands it.
And companies like RE for example, who are regularly recommended as the one of the first companies for new shoppers to sign up to, must have seen the biggest increase in shoppers and take full advantage of it unfortuately.

I certainly agree that the better paid a job is the more time and effort I put into the report. Although maybe that's more to do with the fact that the RE reports are so tedious that it's hard to keep a good level of interest in it!!

I dont know why burger doesn't do that special assignment more regularly the additional item surely would make us stand out less.. and I wouldn't have to put up with GAP being shouted at me lol

Oh, no. When do you think it will be fixed by?
Good news about the special projects is that you can shop a location on a normal job and then shop it again for the special project. Wonder how many outlets will get caught out on this round as it looks like they will be bombarded with shoppers!
