  • So I could say I see 27 clients, Alan might only see 25 and Bertie might see 32.

Bertie, can you pm me a list, please! ;)

GRR was there yesterday (and did the Gap coffee store a week too early :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Someone's released a posh sarnie job in Lakeside on RE as well. Shame I'm not going there today

Does it really matter how many clients GR has?

If you see them, you see them. If you don't, you don't.

Some peoples profile will mean they see/don't see jobs. eg age, who you bank with.

So I could say I see 27 clients, Alan might only see 25 and Bertie might see 32.

But if you live on the outskirts of a big town for example, you are unlikely to see many. Which is the case with me, and only saw one supermarket that's in an out of town Retail Park near me.
But it's only about 20 mins on the bus to the town centre, and I'm there all the time. But from what it sounds like, their allocation system shows the jobs to the X number of people who are closest. So if there is x number of people nearer to an area that I'm in all the time and is easy to get to and I am more than prepared to travel to, then i want to see the jobs!
Which is obviously the situation lots of people are in. It doesn't mean I'd be able to do them all, and it doesn't mean that a male living next door might not see a job I don't, but it gives me much more of a chance. :j

True, but i never saw the clothes shop till i put my postcode as the clothes shop, and if there are clients i don't know about i may be suitable for, changing my postcode will allow me to see. I may not see them based on the fact i haven't dropped lucky on the postcode factor, not my profile.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!
  • Would anyone know what stores GR do in Scotland, as, at present I get one job a month, usually a bank and I've pretty much exhausted all the banks! Many thanks

I just put a central location in the places I visit most as postcodes on GR. Most are bus or train stations, so I get to see all the jobs in that town or city centre.
Here I go again on my own....

I did the same, or put shopping centres on and I still see jack all. I think I will have to call them on Monday. Been with them since July and not seen or missed a single visit. Wow!
  • Whenever I complete a report for a fast food outlet, I always seem to get 'your times seem faster or slower than they should be- please explain' I am very careful with the timings. Does this happen to anyone else? It's not any one particular outlet, it seems to be on every report I do.

It is very random, so do ring them - they were very helpful with me! Town centre postcodes give me a range of jobs, but it seems to be retail parks that cause the problems. One bizarre example of randomness is that I have a postcode down for a retail park. I see the travel agent jobs here, but not the supermarket, even though it is next door but one. I was advised specifically to put down the supermarket address in order to see it.

    Worked! :D

Probably won't see the travel agent job anymore though
