I did a GAP express chicken today, it had to be done between 12 & 3 and I got there just before 3, however the time on the receipt was 3.02pm so either they till clock was fast or my watch slow.

Is there any point in me submitting the report and saying that it was before 3pm on my watch or am I just opening myself up to grief from them?

I had the same thoughts earlier when I did a burger job as I was only given a card receipt instead of the VAT receipt which shows what I ordered. I decided to submit the report anyway as I could just offset the loss I had (if the report was rejected) against any profits for my mystery shopping spreadsheet. If I just cancelled the job, I wouldn't have been able to include the amount I've spent on this job on my spreadsheet!

Does that make sense to anyone else? I'm not very good at explaining things...

I agree that you might as well do it because it's not like the reports take long. Although I'm sure on the chicken jobs it actually says that you are meant to be in and out in the specified time frame. So if you're meant to be in there 20 mins or whatever, then you should technically be in at least 20 mins before the end of the time period.

With a regular chicken this is the case, but at the express stores they mostly either don't have a seating area or it's a shared seating area like in a food court, so they don't have the same restriction.

Oh gosh, I didn't even notice it said 'Express'.
As you can see, I'm all about the attention to detail, me!! :D
Thank God I'm better at MSing than I am at reading about it!! (Honest :o )

Has anyone experience of "International Service Check" ?

They appear to be Austrian based. Advertising in Job Centres at the moment.

Does anyone know how to get the round the seemingly ridiculous specificity of the grassroots postcodes? I emailed them last week as I could potentially cover a much larger area for them, but we are only allowed 5 postcodes. I have played around changing them to see if I get offered jobs in certain retail park/.shopping centres. I do, but then end up losing out on others. My home postcode is redundant as I live in a small village! Even changing the last 3 digts of a postcode seems to make certain jobs disappear - anyone else see this?

And has anyone managed to increase the number of postocdes they are allowed?

I've been wondering about this myself. I'm close to loads of different postcodes all within a close area. I'm probably missing out on loads of jobs from them!:(

I've woken up this morning to be told this by GAPBuster:
    Dear Daniel,

Thank you for mystery shopping with GAPbuster.

Following best business practice, our clients require us to continually provide a broad range of shoppers to complete their evaluations; therefore, we periodically review our shopper database. This is a great way to ensure GAPbuster consistently delivers quality results to our clients.

As a result of this practice we often remove shoppers from our system, and in this instance, you will not be required to complete any further assignments for GAPbuster. Any jobs assigned to you which have not yet been submitted have been cancelled from your account - please do not complete the assignment(s).

Any payments owing to you from work already completed will be paid as normal in the next payment period. If your bank account details need to be added or altered, please go to the Shopper Portal and submit any changes or additions.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to re-register with us. This decision is final and can not be challenged.

We sincerely thank you for your continued efforts to improve the shopping experience for all customers.

We hope your GAPbuster shopping experience has been enjoyable.

    Best regards,

    Shopper Team

Any body had payment from Tern? or invoices for the sauce? I am trying to keep track of all those small little payments due, not that I have massive payments due elsewhere!
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

There seems to be an awful lot of people being 'let go of' by Gap at the moment. Makes me wonder if they do actually have anybody left to work for them. Is it just all the newer people signing up to them, or have people who have worked for them for quite a while being let go as well?
