I do some work for a small mystery shopping company and they are looking for experienced mystery shoppers between 18-25 year old possibly students (London area) to do one off visits. If interested send a PM to me and I'll pass you the company details.0

Firstly you are talking about a different type of audit then those people are reffering to on the board... the audit you are talking about i do all the time takes 15-20 min at most and if you have a wicked projectionist who can give you all the names of trailers etc beforehand and you just watch for timings.
As for counting.. I dont do that.. .I count the people coming into the theatre at different times... and then the cinema tells me the number of tickets sold
I.E-- heres how I write it down
Trailers- +5
Adverts + 3
Film Started 0
Total tickets sold 10
So I know that there were 2 people in for the trailers... then 7 people in for the adverts.
and I suggest reading the briefing notes again for it.. because your not really keeping your eye on the screens per say as the trailers are on you just note down the name.
I can't gointo much more detail as said company doesn't like that.
Many thanks for your assistance, very much appreciated. :A I have never done any type of cinema visit before. There are several more timing points for actual numbers on the list but can use your method for that.0 -

I know you said you do these all the time, so you are obviously well known to the cinema staff, but in the first instance that the projectionist gave you the names of ads and trailers, did you ask or did they just volunteer the info to you??
Fab tip about the counting as well.
Do you find it best to sit at the back so it's easier to count??
I'd perched myself right at the front for the First Tracking ones last week so I had a bit more light from the screen so I could see what I was writing properly.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -

I used to do these and I sat on the little seat for the staff just inside the door at the back. (This also means you aren't sat on someones booked seat and then have to move) I could do a tally chart of the customers as they entered and could observe both doors easily.
If you need more light, you can use your mobile phone and shine it on your paper.0 -
Yesterday Gapbuster called and managed to convince me to do 2 burger assignments tomorrow for an increased fee, one is 10 miles away and one is 20 miles away (believe it or not, these are my nearest burger places!). Today it's been snowing really heavily here and it is forecast to get even worse this evening, overnight and tomorrow, so I highly doubt i'd be able to get out of my street, let alone 20 miles away. How on earth do I go about cancelling these - I logged into Gapbuster and clicked the "cancel assignment" option but in the "reason for cancelling" list, the only choices available make it sound like i'm at fault, like "I forgot about it" or "I changed my mind" - I don't want them to think "God, this shopper's useless" and sack me! Any advice? The fee for these ones was really good too because it was last minute and I agreed to do both

Does anyone know when ABA I pay? I've done 4 visits for them last month, and not got anything yet.
Also, did everyone get their invoice from the A$$ company for the oriental buy back? Still not had mine. Can anyone tell me who to contact as I am newish to them.
Thanks and have a wicked weekend all.0 -

I would suggest emailing them (But they do respond very slowly!), I cancelled an assignment with them this week and they called me to reoffer it to me.0 -

Its normally 3 - 4 weeks after the visit. I am expecting quite a bit from them too.0
