Whats the deal with GR's payment offer at the mo. I dont want to say too much because previous posts have confirmed that MS co's come on here, but I'm not happy with the way they have altered their payments. I've not applied for at least 6 jobs this week with them because of this - but they do still seem to go in a matter of seconds! Is it just me?

I was wondering this too. I was quite excited when I saw two or three different clothing shops that I hadn't seen before. They haven't been snapped up by other shoppers either.

No thanks! Got to try and juggle my diary around to fit in what I missed today.

Still thick of snow here. Managed to get to Tesco (3 miles away) this afternoon as I needed flour and veg, but the roads were really slippy. It's snowed more since then and there's loads more forecast overnight.

EXPD8 rang back. When I was interviewed I didn't have much work booked in next week, but since then I've been offered various jobs which pay better than they do. The lady got a bit arsey as I've accepted other work since speaking to them. She now wants me to keep all my free days in December free for them, but couldn't tell me how many hours she could offer me on each day until nearer the time. She's also seemed irritated because I don't want to work long hours in the week before Christmas as I want to do things with my children and I don't want to work on the 27th Dec as we have family visiting. It's only min wage on bank hols too.

Having second thoughts now and not sure if I really want to work for them.

They sound rubbish to me. How can they expect you to keep your days free without guaranteeing you anything. I think some companies think we're desperate. Some of us are, but not THAT desperate!

Hope the weather gets a bit better for you. Please don't send the snow to Cheshire!

On another note, its so easy to spot who the MS jewellery sellers are on ebay! Lol

I've only just learned you're from my neck of the woods MG! Which area in particular area? You can pm if you like. It's just that I'm typically from down south but moved up here earlier this year so I still consider myself a newbie!

Almost made it through the month without accepting anything from RE, but have temporarily lifted my ban in favour of cookies!! :D
I said I would only do an RE job if the reimbursement was for something relevant, and I'd put cookies in that category!! :rotfl:
Besides, I'll have 6 reports to do tomorrow, and possibly another cinema audit too if I'm feeling to full of cold and sorry for myself to do it today! So I will need some cookies to keep me going.
Good, have justified it enough to myself now! :o

Yep, me too, so is most likely a general problem, which is usually a good thing, rather than it just being you!

We've had more snow overnight and it's currently -2°C outside! I'm going to attempt to get out today, and see how much I can get done.

    Take care everyone xx

Thanks. Some of it is merchandising hair dye that should have been delivered to stores on Wed or yesterday. I'm going to ring them first and check it did arrive before I travel there.
