    Day off work today :D

Too much snow here and couldn't get out of our village this morning, and the school bus didn't get through to collect my boys. Been playing out all morning in the snow instead :D

    Not Fair! :D:(
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!
  • Haha nice one :D wish I had a day off, just finished some big reports so off to brave the snow... Not looking forward to it because my cars RWD and skates about something chronic!

Enjoy your day off Becles :) if you get bored I've got loads of audits I'd gladly swap for a day off :rotfl:

    Morning All

Has anyone received any money from either Bare or Helion for work completed in October - I'm with HSBC and it doesn't normally take this long for the money to hit my account.

I've not had my Helion payment yet either, was only a few days ago that I got the payment for the September work after I had to chase it up.
Probably best to raise a query on the site. And I'm sure Max will pop his head up soon and let us know what's going on!

I'm with HSBC and have been paid for the calls I made last month for Bare. Was impressed with the speed of payment as I thought I'd be waiting a while. Credit to them.

Well, although there was a little confusion about this i must give Amber Arch 10/10 for communication!

The lady there is loverly and clearly looks after her shoppers to be proactive enough to read the thread and send an email. I must admit i'm impressed.

If only GAP worked on a similar level of professionalism.

lol can only laugh as think it's taking the michael to expect you to do shop then fill in report, wrap said item and go to post office and send it back to them for such a low one figure fee, need to take note from other companies

    Indeedy!

My favourite quote of the day from MS companies

"The fee is XX, which is quite higher then most of our jobs"

"Well maybe you shouldn't pay so low? because XX is average for other companies...Sorry I can't help you out"

    "oh..."
  • never had any problems/queries with Gap and had 2 chicken jobs booked for next week, which were approved. Just logged on and see they have both now been rejected/cancelled! I didn't do it! Any ideas why?

No thanks! Got to try and juggle my diary around to fit in what I missed today.

Still thick of snow here. Managed to get to Tesco (3 miles away) this afternoon as I needed flour and veg, but the roads were really slippy. It's snowed more since then and there's loads more forecast overnight.

EXPD8 rang back. When I was interviewed I didn't have much work booked in next week, but since then I've been offered various jobs which pay better than they do. The lady got a bit arsey as I've accepted other work since speaking to them. She now wants me to keep all my free days in December free for them, but couldn't tell me how many hours she could offer me on each day until nearer the time. She's also seemed irritated because I don't want to work long hours in the week before Christmas as I want to do things with my children and I don't want to work on the 27th Dec as we have family visiting. It's only min wage on bank hols too.

Having second thoughts now and not sure if I really want to work for them.
Here I go again on my own....
