Has anyone else noticed that tern have reduced the fee on their optician visits by over 15%? Given the work involved I'm unlikely to do them for that - they were already at the bare minimum I was ok with...

I was wondering. They probably discovered on their roadtrip they had reasonably high fees compared to other companies; they also said they had a lot more shoppers nowadays. So it may just be a supply and demand thing.

I think its down to trying to keep up with the clients... there are a lot of companies out there.

Yonk how did your video thing go?

the email I want to write:

    Dear allocater/ proof reader,

I could submit my reports tonight. And they'd be a crock of poo, because I'm really tired. Really, really tired. Of course, I could wait and submit them before 9am tomorrow, which is more that8 hours post-visit. But they'll be detailed, well written and correctly spelled.

    You have dumb rules.

Camera turned itself off after 15 mins, wonder if it has a timer setting but probably was my generous tum hitting the off button! :D

But good, otherwise, bit too much ceiling but just waiting for feedback now. Enjoyed it tho! :)
  • Hello all,

I've just joined edig, any idea how much work they usually have and what the pay is like?

    Hello all,

They have steady work - you can ususally raise an invoice once a month (I think they allocate surveys that way). The pay is quite low in MS terms, but probably consistant with the work you do. I used to love them, but have got steadily bored, and haven't accepted any invites lately.

More info is on the site once you are registered.

Whats the deal with GR's payment offer at the mo. I dont want to say too much because previous posts have confirmed that MS co's come on here, but I'm not happy with the way they have altered their payments. I've not applied for at least 6 jobs this week with them because of this - but they do still seem to go in a matter of seconds! Is it just me?

Where did you get your video camera from? I've been looking around but don't know which will be any good
