I've got Ted too. He allocated me 2 of the 3 coffee jobs I applied for, and i got the jewellery audit in Bluewater too. So happy!

I don't expect to get all the jobs either, my point was that one job is not always worth travelling for, and I'd rather get, say, two coffee shops for the same day than a coffee shop one day and an audit a while later involving two trips if travel isn't reimbursed.

That said, there is less slightly less work where I have moved to so it's reflected in that I suppose. Besides, college work and a loathing of Christmas crowds mean I'm not too bothered about work for a few weeks, so all is good.

Same here, don't expect to get them all, just pointing out the change of what i get now, compared to what I used to get. More so with the jewellery though. I could usually guarantee whatever jewellery I asked for I would get, as I had done so many of them. They used to make up a good chunk of my earning s with react, as they were allocated a couple times a month, now they are only on every so often.

Am I the only one to find the fee for the jewellery audits quite low, especially as travel isn't covered. I know RE is always slated on here, but even they usually pay more than the fee for a jewellery audit (if you include reimbursements)

I have travel and parking listed on mine. Give them a call if they haven't added parking and travel on your visits.

The fee is actually quite good for what is involved. Report takes a few minutes, as does the actual check, depending on whether you go in covert/overt. Travel is included, as well as parking and any other extra expenses(as long as they are authorised)

Yeah, I will. I've got travel and parking on the coffee shop listed, but not the jewellery one. Strange.

It must be then, that Ted looks after the South and the new allocater looks after the jobs in the North maybe?

Hi everyone

I have just joined MSE although I have been lurking for a long time!:)

I have been reading through the mystery shopping thread over the last wee while and have been working my way through the list of companies on the first page.

I was wondering if someone can tell me what the "Secret Eating Place" that I have seen mentioned in this thread is because I cannot see it listed as an MS company on the first page - I could have overlooked it though!
