Both the suspects seemed ok to me and I didn't suspect them of being trolls.

I was wondering who the MS waxing job was with though. Hope it wasn't with RE. Can you imagine the questions?

Please rate the ouch factor on a scale of 1-10.

How many pubes were torn out on each waxing strip?

Take a picture of your baldy bits with the assignment number written on

The photo of your bits is blurred can you resubmit... also can you tell us in detail how many tears you shed?

That doesn't warrant such a nasty post though. What have either of those people ever posted that has caused a problem (even if you suspect correctly and they are the same person)?

Just the above and I suspect a bit of fabricating the truth which irks me somewhat.
  • I wouldn't take any notice. Jealousy about your modelling references perhaps, as I can't see what other reason anyone has had to attack your posts.

Very much an ex model now. Sorry if it caused offence so I won't mention it again but I am interested in what others did before becoming MS'ers. I am sure most of us didn't leave school with an ambition to be a MS'er but kind of fell into it. It was only relevant as it was strange seeing what the cost is of waxing and having to report on the experience. And the jobs are similar. ie you pose as someone and the tax complications are similar.

The waxing though is good as it leaves your skin moisturised. It is flaming painful though but lasts ages. A godsend for me as I am off on a Caribbean cruise in January. I will be very sympathetic though if Britain is again plunged into snow like last year. But then I am the world's biggest coward. I even found getting my ears pierced painful.

Next life I am coming back as a bloke. A bit of gel on the hair and that's it.

Obviously a PMT week this week - think my husband has it too!!

MG - she never said what she was modelling, could have been personal protective equipment for all we know, and after all how sexy can fireproofs and safety helmet be  (sorry Gabs am sure you were great even in them!)

I fell into MSing really as it was something I could do around the rest of the tribe, I have had "proper responsible" jobs as my mother tells me, but you know, I just dont have the urge to rule the world nowdays, and quite happy in my little corner of it (even WITH a husband with PMT!) I think for most of us on here, its the chance to earn a bit extra to subsidise the little luxuries in life rather than making a full time career out of it.

Definitely wouldnt come back as a bloke though........couldnt do with being wrong all the time :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I do kind of see what MG got irritated about -The model references do come over a little bit trying to impress but I don't think they are meant that way . A bit like me saying "I parked my car and went to do my chicken shop" instead of "I parked my Mercedes and went to do my chicken shop" :)

I like the "What else did you/do you do to earn a crust question.
Fortunately none of my previous/current jobs involved compulsory ripping off of a layer of skin though :D (although I do get it done now and again on my eyebrows -where it doesn't hurt LOL)

I've travelled the world (literally -furthest point I was flown and wined and dined was Australia) working in the travel business, worked for a pub chain most of us have Ms'd, worked for Disney, went to uni as a mature student, ran a bowling alley, had a stint as a SAHM and domestic goddess and now work at home taking tech support calls for a large TV.Phone and internet company.

In these jobs I've met quite a few famous people and I've learned not to mention those I'm friendly with as it is misunderstood at times so I do have sympathy with this misunderstanding :)

Trolls are trouble makers who join forums to cause trouble. No evidence whatsoever that either of these people mentioned are like this so no idea where this has come from. MG would you like to elaborate?

    thanks for that flygirl.
Can't help thinking I've turned over 2 pages, as I don't have a clue what's going on
  • Before children I was in local government dealing with the Court cases for unpaid debts/rates (as it was then etc) so quite responsible and sensible, then I had kids and had some time off just being a mum (no money but loved it) got into market research- round the doors, who buys Oxo sort of thing, as it fitted round kids.
Got divorced, went to uni, (not easy with 2 small kids) taught for a while, and now work in behaviour support- mainly with bad boys who don't come to school etc.
The MS is not a 'proper' job for me, mainly meals, days out and treats.
But when I retire, I will have more time to do some of these fabby ones, holidays and flights etc.
    :)

I kind of know what you mean. I've been an artists' model before and a "promo girl" - it's very similar work really: casual, self-employed, harder than it looks..! I didn't notice you showing off at any point.

I've always done these things on the side though... I get bored of doing one full-time job at a time so I'm always setting up other little enterprises like face-painting or car-washing!

I remember you mentioning the concierge before, it certainly looked interesting though it wouldn't fit in with teaching- very little does as you are tied to school holidays with no extra days/time off, so any other job has to be evening and weekends. Another one to be added to the 'When I retire' list
