Meant to do release it on Friday whe I got the phone call to say our new sofa would be delivered tomorrow, and of course they can only give the very specific time of between 8am - 5pm!! Also meant to ask if anyone else picked up a GfK post job checking if something arrives, and if so, have you had problems with the dates? Mine is showing I have a job scheduled for Friday 5th November, however the brief says I need to check between Monday 8th - Friday 12th?!?

OOh err... I have just managed to get one of these jobs - hope its not your dropped one!! Really pleased as have a coat needs doing but stressing about how to get piccy as its in a store and a camera might be a bit obvious/draw attention of security. Will have to get to grips with camera on my phone methinks.

The postal one is easy peasy, just make sure you open all your post the day it arrives.

This is good. This is a reason for companies to value and pay those of us who don't see it that way.

The other thing is that the incentive is low enough to ignore if something else came up for the person. A bigger fee and people would be more inclined to complete the assignment, I suspect.

I don't do any jobs under a certain amount as even reading the briefs properly and preparing takes me in £ per hour time what I think my time is worth. (But that calculation will be different for each person's circumstances and motivations.)

It was a job in a store, if it is the same one, when I was in the other day I was having a look as to how I would take the pic, and I think I fuigured I could hide behind the newspaper stand infront of the kiosk and get one.

It's so annoying when that happens. I can see a job on RE that was due last week and I walked past the shop twice during the dates. If I'd been offered the job, it would have been completed on time. I'm not going there this week, so can't take it.

Why is it all the jobs that I can see on RE are past their dates!! Some by two days.

Most people on here seem to be up north, so easy assumption to make!!

No worries though, it's the nature of things like this, and there seems to be enough to go around. I wouldn't have PM'd anyone with info without checking if I was massively worried though, and even then I probably would still have anyway as so much info is shared on here, I wouldn't want to be selfish!

Maybe you are the reason that there never seems to be any work nearby lately on RE (although I'm on an RE strike, I still check incase there's anything relevant!)

Does anyone know why you can't log into RE on Android phones? I've got a new phone and was hoping to be able to check for jobs on-the-go but when I try to log onto RE it just takes me back to the homepage. The other MS sites log in fine.

I have a HTC desire and thats android and i can use RE fine

Oh, mine's HTC Wildfire and it lets me log onto every site but RE :S

I can't ask for help from the place I bought it from either as I MS them sometimes.
