I hate having nothing to do. I need to keep busy.
Have myself sorted and everyone else (who i sort which is a list of about 6 people lol)
My co-workers are............not very entertaining and there is only so much one can surf the internet without going and spending money (which i don't wanna do since i get paid tomorrow lol)I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -
Update, my co-worker has just ofloaded some of his work onto me lol ha ha ha
This isn't because i'm not busy. It's because he doesn't like doing it cos it's boring. His exact words were 'if you have nothing to so you can do some IPO's, you know, if your just on websites'.
Cheek!, he does the same thing and spends hours on the phone to his mates (work phone people). And the only reason i have more time is because he's so bl**dy slow at everything.
God i hate my jobI get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

Would you like to do mine??
Actually yes lol
I think it's one of THOSE days. I seem to spend most of my time trying not to throw a stapler at my co-worker.
Any distractions welcome, even if it is taxI get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

(another) tax question for you guys!
I have a macbook, which I love, but I keep coming across companies that use non-compatible software, or they use excel with macros which don't work on a mac. So I'm looking to possibly get a netbook/small windows laptop so that I can actually get some work from these companies. Now I know that I'd be able to offset this against my tax, as it wholey and exclusively for MSing. So my question is, if I buy one in America, can I still offset the tax? Or is it just not worth the hassle?
Also am I right in thinking that I would have to claim 50% in the first year, and the rest the next year? If I have to buy one in the UK and then split the tax rebate then I might not be able to justify the cost or I'd have to settle on something that isn't as useful as I'd want it to be.
Yeah doesn't matter where you buy it from - if it's purchased "wholly and exclusively" (as you seem to already know!) it's allowable. You can also claim it all in one year - when it comes to tax return time, put the figure (along with any other major expenditures) under Annual Investment Allowance. You're now allowed £100,000 of capital expenditure tax-free.
Hope that helps!0
