I've just seen the funeral shops listed on ESA. Can anyone advise me what they are like to do? The fee seems rather low for a visit to such an establishment. It is not something I would enjoy that is for sure.
But to put you out of your misery, it goes like this:
Find dead friend, relative, colleague, neighbour, whatever
Book funeral through certain establishment;
Check on how they have laid body in coffin, make up, clothing etc and ensure no jewellery is missing;
Check they have enough pallbearers to carry the coffin. Check they are presentable.
Check that family and relatives are treated with respect by staff members.
I know, it's not for everyone. Damn hard finding dead person in the first place.0 -
Could somebody clarify something for me: Gap pizza buffet- it says 1 buffet and 2 drinks for up to 2 people. Sorry if this is really stupid: but does that mean you get 1 buffet and 2 drinks each? That's how I read it, but I know what they're like and generous as I am, I'm not paying for somebody else's buffet0

Now, now MG it was a simple enough question LOL:D. I too toyed with the idea of taking one then decided that my acting skills weren't up to scratch. There are some things that I still cant bring myself around to doing - these and car circuits to name two:(0 -

Actually it's not quite as grim as it first seems. I have had a look at the job specs and you don't actually need a dead relative. You just need one who is thinking of dying and wants to pay for the funeral up-front.
Still don't fancy it though. I will stick to timing my burgers.0 -

TBH these jobs are really easy. You go in and ask some info and walk out. Then two minutes later you walk back in again and reveal yourself as an MS. The staff are all really friendly and nice, they've all been MS'd before so know the script. There's nothing ghoulish or horrible about it. You never see anything you shouldn't. It's just like visiting some accountants or solicitors offices.0 -

Well I enjoyed your reply :rotfl::rotfl:
Years ago I worked for said company for their travel agents and used to go from branch to branch. One branch "shared facilities" with the funeral parlour next door and you'd often bump into the chap from next door as he came out of the joint loo after washing the formaldahyde off his hands. Ewwww
Picked up 5 of those jobs-I have no problem with themI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -

You are bringing me round to the idea...... I may have a go at a couple if they are still around.:A I do like the fact that, with ESA, you can opt for a few of the same scenario all at once. By the time you do the last one, you're a pro!:D0
