I cleared a lot of stuff using help from Spywareinfo forum last night, but antivirus just ran and says "path not found" to loads and loads of files, so I dunno yet.... Good thing is that Search Assistant hasn't come back this morning...yet......

In the last few weeks i've been using my laptop as the pc seemed well and truly knacked  ::)

I've just got around to taking it to the guy who built it and he says I had far too many anti spyware programmes and they were all fighting against one another ( I think that's what he said  :-/  . Apparently i've lost some windows  :-/ or something and need to reinstall Windows and he's going to buy me it off Ebay for £50 which sounds reasonable doesn't it?

silly question, when he built the system for you, didnt he supply you with a copy of Windows on cd?
or did he just build the pc, not install any software?
smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to.... ;)
