True, but no cancellation email and cash gone out the bank. The games still on.

My money has gone out of my bank too.

I saw it on bargain of the day and took an hour or so to decide whether to go for it. We bought a top of the line Silentnight Gold turnable double sided pillowtop that was on it's way out after a year. We bought a 2" 65kg memory foam topper & extended the life of the mattress for over a year.

Tim is right pillowtops are cr.p - so are Silentnight beds! The springing has also gone on ours now.

As we've got the topper we thought this might last us, using the memory foam topper from the start, if we're lucky, at least 1 year possibly nearly 2 years so at this price it was worth it. Just hope it does materialise.

Hiya altho the money has been taken, its actually the bank that still has it. Until you get a dispatch e-mail telling you when delivery is, Argos still dont actually have the money for it. So if argos do cancel the orders, they are aloud to do so, as altho the money is showing as no longer in your account, argos havent got it. The bank holds onto it until it is dispatched. the same happeneds if you buy your shopping online to be delivered. You pay for it the day its delivered. I really hope tho that they honour it for all of you, and ill keep my fingers crossed xxx

    No Argos have the money
You are confusing authorizing payments with taking payments.
In this situation Argos have not merely authorized the money but have actually taken it. (The two transaction types show up differently on my on-line banking)

Doesn't it make you wonder if companies like Argos do these misprices deliberately to attract people to their web site.
