Reading through a thread from 2007 and saw that once a meter has been fitted you can't get it removed unless you were the one who got it fitted and request removal within 12 months? It can't end up more expensive, because if it does you can just revert to RV billing as long as you do it within the first 12m of the install. So you cannot lose.
