Dont particularly love it myself. But im not going to stop travelling abroad. He's fine once we're up in the air.

Drunks are fine once they've thrown up as well. So I suppose you don't mind if they carry on flying either,

I'm of the firm belief that if you can't behave on a plane you shouldn't be allowed on it - and that goes for both adults and children.

My brother's kids are desperate to go to Florida for their hols, but his attitude is that if they can't do a long car journey (say 8hrs) without acting up then he isn't going to inflict them on anyone else on a transatlantic flight. Sadly for him, they are both now remarkably well behaved, and I suspect life is about to get expensive :-)

I have some sympathy for those taking kids to visit family abroad, but just to have a fortnight in the sun isn't a good enough reason in my book.
It sounds like your brother is an extremely courteous person, if only more people could be like that.

I've never had any problems with drunk passengers on flights. Perhaps it depends where you're flying to but screaming children are a regular occurence.

No it wasn't, it was on the news two months ago in the US.

Well I must have imagined that I saw it on the Today show on NBC yesterday.
