I had the same problem. We coslept and in the day I put her in a sling or held her. She is 15 months now and currently asleep in her cot upstairs after 12 months of cosleeping. I will say she is a rubbish sleeper - hardly naps and seems to need hardly any sleep but I'm told that's a sign of intelligence! Anyway I don;t think you're making a rid for your own back if you hold a baby, but also there are some great suggestins on here for things to try, just if they don;t work don;t panic too much! They all eventually get the hang of sleeping in their own, some just take longer to get used to it. They have been inside you for 9 months after all, a cot or moses must feel quite lonely after that. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

That solution was recommended to us when our son was tiny, some friends of ours had a daughter 9months before and shared all their tips. Used it also with success for our daughter. Glad you've found something that works.
Hope peace continues to reign.0
