Thats it you tell him..........ha ha!
I'm sure you could get a generic pda holder to fit the gizmondo.0 -
caverncity wrote:Remember the defunct Gizmondo, the handheld games console that plays games, mp3's videos, and sends texts. Well it also has GPS built in and with the correct software it turns into a fully working satnav.
Comet (in store only ) is selling the Gizmondo with copilot 6 for £68. You get the giz, the software, mains charger but no car charger or car cradle.
Setting it up is very easy, just insert the sd card, go to applications and click run and thats it. You can also download speed cameras onto it.
Copilot has post code search, good voice instructions and a very clear screen.
It is possible to run tomtom and route 66 on it and was in the middle of doing it but the web site with instructions has gone.
Speke, liverpool have none left but Aintree in Liverpool had 6 left as of last thursday.
The only let down is the missing cradle as its expensive but it can he used hand held or find something that would hold it in your car. The copilot software does give the option for car or walking use
I'm not knocking the gizmondo, cos I tried to get one when argos were selling them off, but failed.
But my solution was a spv m600 pda which was almost as cheap, in fact yes it was if you in market for a new contract mobile as well......and no cashbacks either!0 -
The one i've just bought says smart ads on the box? It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -

Yes it does but you will find there are no smart ads, in fact the smart ads is blanked out on the giz. due to gizmondo going under so did the smart ads. so no menacing adverts popping up0 -
what was the smart ads then?......©..®..(TM) NothingVentured.

you had two types of console, the smart ads was cheaper as it was sent/loaded with adverts which you had to view 4 times a day. This doesnt work now0
