Have lost today one pair of glasses on the beach and one earring. Not happy about the earring only second time wearing them.

    Have a good evening all.

Lunch was fish and chips from freezer for DD and some kind of bean and rice thingy (HM) from freezer for me.

In the afternoon went to visit friend and she gave us tea. We had HM granary bread with choise of cheeses, ham, cucumber, tomato, hoummus and olives. Very yum.

My goodness, you all had amazing dinners (and lunches) yesterday!

Maman, your stir fry sounds amazing, I know what you mean about it being a mid-week dinner, I might have to have a stir-fry tonight now, what did you put in it?

40SM, yes I am very lucky to have such a lovely mum :) How's you, how's the foot?

Pen, did you use a marinade for your peri chicken or was it already like that when you bought it?

Puzzcat, take aways are the best dinners of all ;)

HB, welcome in, what you eating today? :)

    RN, how was the pork?

    Lurks, how was the lamb?

DB, did DS ever get a call back about that job?

Heath, your dinner, dessert and snacks all sound AMAZING!! Sorry to hear about your earring and glasses :( hope the weather is great and looking forward to the pics on FB when you get back :)

Had a really really bad night's sleep, up practically every hour so feel exhausted :( Looking forward to getting home from work and vegging in front of the telly with an easy tea and early to bed for me (and it's only 7am :rotfl:), unfortunately have to minute a meeting directly after work, I would've really appreciated getting out at 4.15pm today instead of 5.30pm (for the record I start at 7.45am, I realise 5.30pm is normal for most people :)).

    Hope we are all well?

    xx

Have been known to stop and examine neighbour's rosemary hedge, having gone for a walk with pair of scissors conveniently in pocket:o I love lamb so will be waiting to hear what your dinner's like Lurks.

Lamb was   Sauce was ok, would probably stick to a gravy and mint sauce next time ;)

:DNeigh, neigh, and thrice neigh :D
  • Morning all - hot chocolate for brekkie today :)

Jo, the chicken came with the seasoning on. I thought it was just going to be the skin that tasted but actually for a shop bought one it was lovely. Only enough for 3 adults though.

Work has wound me up already, roll on 3pm. Pen x

Going out to eat today so only had some cereal for breakfast.

Stir-fry was lovely. I put in pack of veg (mainly beansprouts 50p in Asda) plus loads of extra mushrooms, peppers, broccolli, courgettes, carrot, chillis. Marinade for beef was soy, ginger and a bit of Chinese 5 spice in some beef stock (would have used sherry but that's a syn on SW so wouldn't want to waste it:o). I served it with packet of savoury rice for a change but usually do noodles.

Have a good day everyone, weather glorious here again, better than it was in August.
  • So far today I have scoffed 2 large mugs of hot chocolate, 1 pack beef hula hoops and a packet of soft mints.

I don't think I'm going to reach my 5-a-day at this rate.
