Have been known to stop and examine neighbour's rosemary hedge, having gone for a walk with pair of scissors conveniently in pocket:o I love lamb so will be waiting to hear what your dinner's like Lurks.
Strange day here on food front. Unexpectedly going out to eat tomorrow, also out Tuesday then away Thursday for short break. So stir-fry planned for Monday will have to shuffled forward otherwise bean sprouts won't be at their best. I luurve stir fry (beef with ginger today) but I always think of it as a midweek meal. Still leaves me plenty of time.......to waste gossiping;)0 -
Just had chicken curry, rice, popadoms and lots of naan bread ( or nanny bread according to the boys:)) and now feel uncomfortably stuffed.
God bless your wee mum JO:A. She has come up trumps again :T but then again she does have a fabbie daughter;)
Have a good day everyone

Hi All,
Lovely day here. Fish pie for tea tonight.
I went to a big Asian store today and could have spend hours in there and spent a fortune. They had everything. Indian, Thai, Japanese, Chinese etc. I got away with spending £18. I finally got some Shaohsing rice wine which seems to be in all Ken Hom's recipies.
I guess this is all readily available in London but not out here in the sticks. I shall be experimenting this week!
