Ds had hot dogs, waffles and beans. Generally we eat the same but sometimes I have what I like and vice versa!

My lot would love that. I must get some more hotdogs in for them.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

So what herbs did you use? And what veg are best as an accompaniment? :rotfl:

I do a meal plan pre shopping, then have to change it all to fit in with the OH's change of plans for the week...!!!! Tonights pasta was in 3 variations... OH had the lot, mine was minus the olives and DSS's was minus the olives and the cheese... !

DD has her own as she's a wee bit fussy and eats much earlier than us big people...!!!!

Tomorrow is sausages with peppers, onions and tomatoes roasted with olive oil and some rosemary, served with.... not sure yet...!

Right off to make another cuppa before bed...
    nite all. xx

**sneaks in to take a seat at the diner**

This is where you all are then, sat around a table in the booth chatting about what you're eating - where the proprietor to move you all on!

I've been a bit rubbish food wise today
    Porridge
    Banana
    2 apples
    2 muesli bars
    soup
Bag of liquorice torpedoes - this is where it went wrong after work
    Bar of nougat
    Mug of hot chocolate

must do better tomorrow, half the day went well and the second half not so well for some strange reason
final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333

I definitely do meal planning in that I plan/shop for a week's meals then juggle them round to fit in with plans. I find it saves time as well as waste.
  • What a fab thread Jo - I love cooking!! last night we had roast dinner - turkey joint with all the trimmings (a product of my AFness yesterday :D) and tonight it's lamb steaks with salsa verde, roasted peppers and onions and some cous cous.

I keep trying to meal plan but struggle cos i never know when DD will be home so sometimes end up swapping things around.

I think that meal planning is the way to go for me as I am fed up of random dinners (and so is my long suffering family). I think the old style board might have a few hints and tips.

Sparkles, any day that includes porridge, apples and museli is not a rubbish food day (not a very yummy food day though :rotfl:).

    Welcome Shoppy

Gien, I really really should meal plan but too lazy to, so I end up in Mr T's every night trawling the aisles...very expense way to live

Marru, I'll come back to you on the house dilemma, in a bit of a rush to get out the door.

HB, 24 hour diner this AND I don't even mind if you bring in your own food and drinks :D

Best run, got a meeting at 8am and I'm sat here in my PJs and so are the kids  though bought a sticker chart yesterday and one of the aims is 'get ready for school as soon as mum asks' and yesterday they both earned a sticker.....wonder how long that novelty will work for :D

    xx
