Well Budgie is sorting out her car, I think I am going for the Peugeot 107 Urban Lite, its the lowest insurance group and only £20 a year road tax.
So cheap running costs, my Ka is sadly going, had it from new and only 45k miles on it. I only have my car to get to work as you cannot get a direct bus to the place I work in.
I have worked out that if I keep this car as long then I will be 61
Goodness.....................................
So I do hope everyone is ok, not much custom this diner is getting lately, time for a revamp me thinks
Take care everyone and look after yourselves.

Thought I would pop over here for a nosey about.:D
I was bought a breadmaker at the weekend,an early Xmas pressie.:j:j:j:j.
I have used it everyday so far and the bread has turned out amazingly good, only used the packet mixes up until today. As I have an addictive nature I went out yesterday and bought loads of flour, seeds, yeast etc,my bill was HUGE and I couldnt carry the bags,15kg of flour is rather a lot methinks.
Made fish chowder Sunday, mushroom soup Monday, today I am making ham and lentil soup and going to try a bread recipe from the recipes that came with the machine.
I had a bread machine years ago,it went my DDs way,but it was not as good as this machine.
Nice to see some familiar faces over here, miss you all from the other thread.Sobriety delivers everything Alcohol promised.

Ok so Budgie rang on Thursday to order her car, but the guy I have been dealing with was off. So I am going to cut a very long story short here and say that this was in my lunch hour.
That afternoon I had 4 yes 4 people telling me not to buy a peugeot as they are basically crap. So here I am now no car ordered and not sure what to do
I mean I don't even like driving
Its still very quiet on here, hope everyone is ok?
Take care everyone and have a fabby positive week.

 I'm here budgie, good to see you!
I've just had the most enormous roast: beef, roasties, parsnips, cabbage, carrots, cauli, broccoli, horseradish and gravy! I gave yorkies a miss as didn't want to be too greedy but I'm stuffed!
A quick dash around the boards and then settle down to Downton. Life doesn't get much better.;)0 -

Good to see you too Maman, but after all that Sunday Dinner I think you should take care dashing about the boards. Take it easy girl
But glad to hear you sounding chipper, I am on the apple juice, get me
Just watching the X factor then I will be off to bed me thinks.
Been sorting out my crimbo pressies for friends today.
Poor Ds is working so hard at the moment, not finishing until late and then working from home after work at night, in all this weekend and last and the same next week.
I wish I lived closer to make sure he is looking after himself.
I do so miss him
Hey ho take care

Budgie - my BF has a Peugeot and nowt wrong with it.
I am in Switzerland and tonight had the most wonderful food in the local Bistro. Oh MAN!!!! YUM!!!!! Do you think I could tempt the chef to move to UK to do all my cooking?"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
