Hello Girly, hows you?
Its been aggggggggges since you popped in this diner, tis good to see such a lovely familiar face.
If we carry on like this, we might just see: Winebox, BHB now how is he doing? Ym and who knows even Miss Honey Bear etc.
It gives you a warm fluffy feeling so it does
Hope the boys are all ok, they must be all growing at a rapid rate.

Hi Budgie,
Thank you very much. I really do miss our old "gang". We had a good laugh didn't we ??
Yes the boys are growing rapidly... DS1 has just started at secondary school and has settled in really well. This a great relief as you may remember I have been so worried about him as he is on the autistic spectrum. I can quite safely say that he has progressed more in the last 8 or so weeks than he has in the previous 3 yrs  . His teachers are fantastic and he is recieving lots of extra support . A great relief :T
BTW both myself & DH drive peugeots and have not had many problems with them other than age -related:o
Take care of yourself hun . Must catch up properly soon
Love & Hugs

Hi Sweetheart and I just wanted to say that I am so pleased your Ds is progressing so well since his new term started, it really is good news.
He sounds like he is getting the help and support he needs, having good teachers is so very important.
Thanks for the Peugeot comment but I don't know what to do I really don't. I may wait until the bad weather has gone?
Yes the old gang must I think have a reunion, well if steps can
We just need our Dear Captain back to sort it all out.
But is he man enough
We shall see..................................

I've only popped into say hello, but I am not purchasing anything today as I have to watch my spending.
I have joined the November Grocery Challenge and pledged a total of £275 which I thought was ok for just Mr BB and I.
However I have so far spent: £218.48 which leaves £56.02 for the rest of the month and its only the 4th November
How much does everyone else spend?
Its a minefield working it all out.
Hope everyone is ok?

There's only me and papa to feed these days budgie, but I am a very organised food shopper as, like dragon, I need to have plenty of spare cash left for
I'll nip over to the GC board later and see if I can find out where you're going wrong.
One rule is not to eat out in diners when you could make a sandwich and a flask at home!;)0 -
Yep and for instance we have stopped buying packs of sliced ham for sarnies but get canned corned beef or ham and slice it our selves, ends up about a fifth of the priceDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Maman and Dragon, thanks for the reply. I have to say that I have recently slipped from my mse ways.
I used to be so careful as I had to be when Mr BB was out of work, I batch cooked, always took to my lunch to work etc etc.
It was a way of life, I think because we lived like this for over two years and now I don't have to, I just want to buy nice food.
So I have joined the Grocery challenge to mend my ways.
Though with Christmas on the way its probably the wrong time to start.
Hope eveyone is ok and having a nice safe bonfire night.
Off to watch the X factor.
