It is the situation with the ex. The sooner I get a new job in a different country and permit from the court to take DD with me the better. I can start again, again.

You certainly have had so much stress from your ex, I know it must be so difficult for you with having to keep in contact with him due to DD's age.

You cope with so much doing a very demanding job and looking after your DD.

The situation will improve with time, make sure that you don't let this get you too down, I know that is much easier to say than do, but I know how poorly you were earlier in the year.

So please do take care, try and think positive thoughts and maybe its time to revisit the Zen side of things, keep focused on what YOU want to achieve.

Desire for something is a very powerful force, you will ultimately achieve what you want.

    On that I am certain.

Treat yourself kindly and choose not to let the negative influence of your ex influence your life further.

Accept him for what he is, I have discovered that once we stop putting our energy into fighting someone/something then the situation becomes easier.

He is a drain on you, what is termed an energy vampire, taking what strength etc you have.

You may benefit from learning about crystals and the chakras, I have found this subject to be both interesting and beneficial.

Sorry if the above is a complete waffle :o

But I am sure you get the gist of what I am trying to say. Even though badly.

Take care and biggest hugs (())

I am back on the juice :( but I am not going to go to the other side.

Anyway, treating myself with mini bottle of red, steak and posh cheese cake today. Need it :(

Do take care marru, I feel for you. I've been there. I was really lucky in that when my ex and I split (after initial load of hassle when he fought me for custody) he bowed out of DD's life until she was 18 and could make her own decisions/arrangements for seeing him.

I still enjoy 'the juice' but have resolutely stuck with counting AF days (16 this month:D) and no stupid episodes when I choose to drink. Glad to hear you're feeding yourself well.

Ex is excelling himself again , I think I need to forward recent correspondence to my solicitors for advise. The threats are coming thick and fast again. Never mind, exams are over for now and I think I passed at least one of them. DD is going to Beaver party tonight so I shall go to the pub next to the party place for the biggest stake available.

Didn't get the job back at home. Not looking at the moment. Need to get project completed at work and house decluttered first.

I am off to Am@zon for some comfort shopping :o

:santa2: Hi jo and Happy Christmas to you and yours, and all old friends and lurkers (and lurky!:D)

    Very traditional here tomorrow

    No starters but champagne aperitifs

Turkey with every trimming known to man!

Christmas pud with a choice of cream or custard or ice cream (last year we were all too stuffed and didn't get this far!)

    And then for tea......

    Have a good one all!!
