I've tried some cheaper herbal sleeping tablets but they knock me out for a day afterwards, and take forever to kick in. I might give nytol a go.

Gemmzie, hope you get the cooker working.

I'm back from my drum lesson, called at Morrisons on the way back and got a few tubs of olives, sun dried tomato and feta for 19p, so that's tea sorted out. And if it's not filling enough I got a little garlic bread reduced too.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

I took the nytol ones about an hour before going to bed, started to watch tv but fell asleep (thank god for the timer on the tv) and woke up at 5.50am feeling quite perky.

Mind you I've not slept well for months, DH is having problems sleeping and I need to turn him in the night ( I managed to do that without really waking up last night) and his snoring is normally a real issue but I didn't even hear it last night. (he's off to a sleep clinic in December for help with all that which will be a godsend)

    Evening all

I made some green tomato chutney this afternoon so the house smells lovely, think I may have over done the chilli in it though....hmmmm.

Been having real issues with a salivary gland stone this week but seem to have knocked it into submission today with plenty of lemon sucking (blugh) and a new sonic toothbrush which should help break the stone up.

Used the herbal "nytol" tablets last night for the first time - they're fantastic and I really can recommend them to anyone having sleep issues - my body felt very relaxed and although I woke up several times I went back to sleep very quickly.

I am not having problems falling asleep but have real problems staying asleep...but I think its mainly because my brain is constantly working overtime at the minute...i have a lot on my mind....and over stimulation due to coffee (i suddenly realised that one today:rotfl:)

I take anti d's so would be a bit worried about taking nytol as well...but i seriously need to get some sleep. 6 hours a night is just not doing it for me.
