    House still smells a bit 'o-zoney', looking at the bits of burnt wire and counting blessings.
    We're well insured...........blimey, could have been debt-free and Mortgage free ( and homeless:() all in one go!
    Got friend of a friend coming round tomorrow to quote, should be a heck of a lot cheaper than normal and he is Certificated. Means I'll still have to take up a load of flooring upstairs but I'd rather do that than pay someone to do it and the floors a bit creaky anyway so its good that I can kill two birds with one electrical fire.

    Wooohooooo! My cheque for my phone has turned up so that'll be banked tomorrow. AND my running number hs turned up, I'm 103! Two of my favourite numbers (1 and 3) and it adds to to an even number so that's good too (I don't like odd numbers) Will be paying in the cheque after my learning Finnish book has arrived, just waiting for nalle to get online now :D

    Sorry, just remembered another bit of news. My English lecturer asked what we were doing after uni, and I said I might teach English in Finland. She then tells me if I am serious, she'll get in touch with some of the lecturers she knows in Finland! :O Great or what?

    Sometime between April and September next year Su, hopefully closer to September because we have a helluva lot of saving to do before hand! It's a new build so they aren't sure how long it'll take.

    i've just got in from driving to King Lynn to pick up my new table!! What a palaver!! It and the chairs only just managed to fit in my car!!
