I thought it was a legal requirement to declare if you are a business or private seller. Ebay wouldnt give themself the
extra hassle if they did not have to.
I cannot remember the email i got about it. Pretty sure it was because of legal issues.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I sell used cars direct from lease companies. So someone who is sellin car parts etc is no competition!0

Not that it really bothers me if this seller is reported or not. But i've loved the way people have attempted to justify the fact that he's not registered as a business and not displaying the information legally (not just by ebay) required for a businessIt may be that they are registered with HMRC and are ignorant of the need to be registered as one for Ebay.
:rotfl:I think the clue is the fact that they have 2 types of account. A business and a Private one. It's very plain when you come to register. That's a point everyone misses.ebay wrote:If you are acting as a business seller you need to register a business account. Why not leave it to one of his buyers to sort out? That's the only way this seller will come a real cropper if he is trying to evade his responsibilities.0

This is MSE, not 4chan - "lulz" "ftw" etc...<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0

You can't post affiliate links on MSE but posting malicious and potentially libel threads about others with the sole inention of removing competition in order to increase your profits, thats ok....
OMFG - how am I profiting from it, you spanner...?!
I sell used cars. He/she sells parts off damaged cars.0 -
to be fair, the seller has only sold three things in the last fifteen days but i can see the op's point that, yes, they should be registered as a business seller if they are, indeed, a business but I dont think that asking people to report them on a public forum is the right way to go about it. Especially as,all some one would need to do is send the seller a question and point out this thread and then that then creates a whole can of worms (im just saying,i havent done this).

well Harvey i have decided that you are profiting from it and that you are in the same business as this guy.
Granted that decision is based soley on my own assumptions about you harvey, just as your OP about this seller is based soley on your own assumptions about him surely you see the irony?......"A wise man once told me don't argue with fools because people from a distance can't tell who is who"........0
