I have had 7-8 calls from these people in the last 24 hours! Don't know where they got my number but told them I wasn't interested, carried on talking so I put phone down. Fourth call, "not interested as I told the person that phoned 2 hours ago", "What not interested in claiming back £2000", "No", still carried on talking so said again not interested and put phone down. Called a further 3 times but didn't answer, not had a call now for around 12 hours so hoping that's the end of it.
I'm always wary of cold callers as we don't give our number to anyone, if we wanted to claim anything back we'd have done it off our own backs before now.0 -
I stupidly signed up to this company late one night. At first all appeared to go well and they very quickly got me two very small amounts of compensation ( well under £300.00 ) BUT then I started to get the same forms sent out - I phoned them and asked what was going on - was told to ignore the requests. The forms kept arriving, but no more compensation. I decided to write them a letter informing them that I no longer wished to be represented by them. Guess what - they are still sending me forms. My advice - don't touch them with a barge pole.0

These are scammers. If they do anything legitimate it's probably just to cover up the fact that they are scammers. They call me 3-4 times a week telling me how I'm owed money back, rarely give a figure. If they do it's false because I am not owed any ppi having never taken out or applied for a loan nor having had any finance agreements to pay for anything in my life. When they called me yesterday afternoon I asked, "how do I get you to stop calling me?" the woman said, "!!!! off" and hung up the phone. The call came from a mobile number.0

Claims Advisory Group called a friend of mine today. Told him they had a large cheque for him. A solicitor will be calling at his address to hand it over. But first they need payment with a £200 Amazon voucher!
It is laughable except that his is a vulnerable adult, they are worrying him, wasting his time, and they had an aggressive attitude toward him.0 -

Known scam method. In an ideal world you would arrange for the visit and have the police in the house ready to arrest the person. However, in reality, the police are not interested.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
