That's better then, I was wondering if he was in halls or something and everyone else had gone home for the holidays, it would have been a bit bleak. If its a shared house, then he's among friends and will want to enjoy himself.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Hi DT
Sounds like it has been an emotionally charged day
The inquest must have been difficult for all (but I would like to have seen the other family evicted :rotfl:) and I am so pleased they know what caused it and say no blame can be laid anywhere. I suspect that you still spend some time saying what if though..... it's just human nature, even when you know there really wasn't anything you could have done differently.
And poor OS, that sounds very painful. Thank goodness you sent him back to the Dr and action has been taken quickly. Does it feel any better know it is supported? If he is in pain 2 weeks will seem a long time to wait.
Being a little more frivolous, today's outfit sounds lovely, nice jacket:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Hey there
Glad that the inquest went as well as could be expected today. I was thinking about you and DD for most of the day. What a bunch of ignorant rhymes-with-bankers that other family were though

DT - sorry to hear about DS's knee.
Question on the red coat. What is the sizing like? I've bought Jacques Vert and Planet before, and they do seem to be generous. I've got my eye on a couple of things, and hoping I might get something in the last minute sale/reductions if I'm lucky. I looked at their online measuring guide, using actual measurements, and it said I'd be a size 10!!! Normally I'm 12/14.
The outfit you wore yesterday sounded super.0 -

I think they are fairly generous I bought a 16 which is my size but it does mean I could get something under it if necessary. In Primark I had to go up to 18 but everything else I bought was 16 for my upper body. If you are a 12/14 I personally would go for a 12 in a coat. Or order 2 and send one back. Of course it depends what you are buying if it is not a coat 10 may well be enough as the trousers I bought were generous. HTH.
Today I am wearing a Wallis multi coloured tunic in green and purple with dark grey leggings and my ankle boots

Are people even recognising you? The baggy clothes will have hidden a lot of the weight loss.
DT I think you asked about children's audio cassettes somewhere, not exactly the same, but MG's thread today has a link to a site where you can download free audio books.0 -

I haven't been wearing baggy clothes for quite a while now ever since I grew out of the ones I bought earlier in the year but I still run into people who have not seen me recently and they are surprised although some are frightened to say anything in case its because of our GD's death
Looking forward to seeing my college friends the weekend before Christmas as they have not seen me since July so they should be surprised :rotfl::rotfl:
I have been grinning like an idiot today I am so pleased with myself thanks to Macgirl and her friend :AI have produced the charity Christmas cards today I have kept them simple and classy and I think they are absolutely fab and once I had sorted out templates etc. were really quick to do. I have posted some and others are awaiting collection I think people are going to be really pleased. I really enjoyed making the cards something else I will have to investigate further it was fun :j:j
So two satisfying crafty days in a row
