Well, I was quite disappointed because I didn't get the account number and sort code but my partner did when she opened hers... I have to investigate on that tomorrow. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

If you were already a Natwest customer and signed up, how long did your new account take to appear in your Natwest online banking?
It says in the FAQ
"How long does it take to open an e-savings account?
Are you an existing NatWest Online Banking customer? We’ll open your e-Savings account straightaway." And when I completed the app it said "Your account is now open and ready for use." and gave the account details.
But it isn't listed with my other accounts and when I checked it said: "Customer advice, please address the following issues:
* Our records show that the payee account you have specified does not exist. Please enter a valid account number."
I assume it'll be there in the next day or two and as I won't be putting much dosh there before the bonus kicks in I'm not too fussed.0 -
I was advised of the account number and sort code at the end of the registration procedure. I can't remember exactly what I read but it was something along the lines of it would take 48 hours before the account would active , so I don't expect anything to show up on the accounts summary before Friday..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
