Ben 10 Alien Truck Goes on Tour
Cartoon Network teams up with Toys 'R' Us to create the free tour around the UK. The truck has already visited two stores and is heading to another eight locations over November and December. Kids are taken on a mission to save Ben, who is trapped on Planet Kylmyss. Before boarding the 20-seater space craft simulator, children will be required to check their alien DNA at a fingerprint check-in. Via a series of large tunnels around the 40-foot articulated truck, families will be taken on a journey where they can watch new Ultimate Alien episodes, view animation storyboards telling the story of Ben Tennyson. Kids can also enjoy interactive puzzles and games and meet some of the new Ultimate Aliens costume characters along the way.
The truck tour locations are as follows:
20-Nov Saturday Teesside Retail Park, Newmarket Avenue 9.00-14.30

Aww my kids were so desperate to see this, but when I looked it up on Cartoon Network site yesterday they were gutted to find that the closest visit to us is Warrington (don't know why it's not coming to Liverpool) and I'm not driving there on Christmas Eve! Got enough to be doing then, so they're going to have to miss out!0 -
BBC Children in Need 2010 - Donate to help improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people
http://www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey/donate/
From the BBC Children in Need Website: As a result of the tremendous support we receive from supporters across the UK, we're able to continue to fund fantastic projects which aim to help make positive changes to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK. The 2009 Appeal was a fantastic success raising a record breaking £39 million despite the current economic conditions, which is a real tribute to the generosity and understanding of our supporters. So far this year we have been able to allocate over £20 million in two grant rounds to 665 projects dedicated to helping improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people. We have two further grant rounds later this year in which to distribute the remainder of our budget.:snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:0
