Amazon lightning deals for the UK‼! 22/11 until 26/11 ONLY!
Every year Amazon in the USA offers shoppers fantastic deals on all sorts of products throughout Thanksgiving week until 'Black Friday' (the day after Thanksgiving in the USA when Christmas shopping traditionally starts). This year, the lightning deals will be available on some UK products too from Monday 22 November and new deals will be added throughout the day, every day, until 'Black Friday' (26/11).
Offers on Amazon in the UK will take the form of 'lightning deals', with a limited quantity of an item being offered at a discount for only a short period of time. Once that quantity has been reached, or the time limit elapses, the lightning deal will end. There will be more than 200 great deals available over the 5 day period including Toy Story Talking Buzz Lightyear Space Rangers, Nintendo Wii Consoles, Harry Potter Blu Ray Box Sets and much more. According to Amazon, the deals will come thick and fast so customers are advised to check back regularly for significant discounts on items across all product categories. Found a 10% off code on this site monsterhighdolls.org.uk for 'The Hut' and they have the Monster High dolls :-) Hope it helps those seeking them.
they also have the plush monster high dolls for 10.99 (I think), that appears to be the cheapest around at the minuteSealed Pot Challenge Member 1273VSP 2011 Member 92 - 723.070 -
Argos now has Toffee the pony to 'order online and collect in store', up and down the country :-)0

I've just bought two of the plush dolls from there, but the 10% code doesn't work for me, the £1.00 of a toy did tho, just put each one through seperately, free delivery. Good price for the dolls, they are double that price elsewhere.!!0 -

Argos have different delivery depots so sometimes something may be available for home delivery in one part of the country but not others. Certainly not showing in the NE. However, the person who posted this has just joined and it is their first post - not meaning to be rude, but a hoax may be?
Toysrus are expecting stock of Toffee the Pony towards the end of November.
There is one review for Toffee the Pony on Amazon - makes interesting reading...
My daughter wanted this more than anything else for her birthday today, and we're now trying to find another one to replace this one with as they seem to be sold out.
It's a fairly rigid-bodied toy, which hasn't lasted the day; and the stitching seems to be fairly badly done in places as well.
Why is this toy so expensive if it can't last a single day (on a birthday)!?!
I didn't enjoy seeing my daughter cry when we tried to explain to her why her favourite toy doesn't work properly.
Very disappointed.
If you have bought one and are keeping it until Christmas, I would recommend you checking the toy prior to the magical day.
Honey the Pony seems to have a good start rating on Amazon - one reviewer says:
Father Christmas bought "Honey" for my 9 year old daughter this Christmas and it has become one of her favourite toys.
Firstly, Honey is beautifully soft and tactile and just the right size for a cuddle on someone's lap. She feels silky to touch and has a sweet face. She's very slightly out of proportion with a big head and little legs but this doesn't bother my daughter.
Honey - like FurReal toys - has various pressure points (on her back, on her nose, and inside her mouth) which make her move her head, nuzzle into you, whinny, and make a crunching noise as if she's munching a carrot. She comes with a carrot which you pop inside her mouth.
Slightly misleadingly, I thought from the picture on the box that she opened her mouth herself, but she doesn't. Her mouth is quite stiff to begin with and you feel as if you're forcing the carrot into her mouth. You also have to get the carrot into just the right place to make her make the munching sound, so don't worry if you don't get it first time.
I'd have liked her to do a bit more for the money, perhaps swish her tail or open her mouth, but my daughter is just delighted with her, so that's the main thing!
She's certainly been a well-loved toy so far and by the way she gets tenderly tucked up at night, I'd say she's not likely to be a flash in the pan, so highly recommended.
Good luck.:snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:0 -
