They didn't nag you to leave feedback... they nagged you not to leave negative or neutral feedback... ;)

    Sean :D

    Got it in one :D

Anyways i'm off before i nark anyone else with me being narked! Might message the seller to ask why they waited a week to message me about it.
  • Yes i understand that but why when the situation is resolved-they refunded a week ago why not put the note in with the refund. I'm not unresonable i didn't like the way they worded it thats all and the timing just makes it seem odd.

Perhaps you would look at my post 12?

Doesn't answer my question i'm afraid. Fb is optional and the seller hasn't left fb for me either. Doesn't change the fact that i'm still not leaving fb for something i didn't get and don't see why i should i don't expect all my buyers on my biz acc to leave me fb either and certainly haven't got the time to go chasing those that don't up.

Like i say i'm going now as clearly this has annoyed some people and i'm sure the forum would be better used for people why need some excellent ebay help. :)

I repeat you were NOT being asked to leave fb - you were being asked NOT to leave unjustified negative or neutral fb!!!
But then - not too much of a problem as you say you can rarely be bothered to leave any fb at all. As one other poster has said please reveal your ebay ID and I can also block you from bidding on any of my items.

what because i don't leave fb? :rotfl:

Perhaps all auctions should now state please do not bid unless you always leave feedback.

How about those who don't want me bidding reveal their ids so i can avoid you like the plague. It would by very unwise to post an ebay id on an open forum!
  • You persist in misunderstanding what I am saying. I merely asked you to appreciate the seller's situation. Feedback IS an important aspect of ebay and its misuse can be damaging.

I'm not misusing it though so your argument shouldn't be aimed at me. I can understand if i'd threatened a neg or similar but have done nothing of the sort. The way i see it is the seller is accusing me of being the type to leave bad fb for a missing item when i had no intentions of doing that whatsoever. I would have got round to leaving fb but if i do it, it is in batches and i would only leave a neg for something serious probably left 1 in the last 10yrs.
So i am more narked at the assumption that i was going to leave anything but possitive by the seller.

I will put it down to poor wording on the sellers part but still unclear as to why i have been bombarded with some not so nice comments. I'd done nothing at all. Bought my item didn't get it asked for a refund. How have i (as the buyer) done anything so awfull to the poor (as stated above) seller.
  • It's been interesting seeing from both sides of this erm.....debate (and I can see both sides) however....

I have been refunded for something that they would not send me but they didn't tell me - I sent an email asking where the item was and they replied saying that they had refunded me - sure enough there was a refund on my paypal account made 3 days after I paid for the item.

As I said, they didn't tell me - but ok I got a refund.

I left neutral FB as to me, yes ok, got the money, but I can't say that it was a positive experience as I didnt have the item, could see no reason why they wouldn't send it to me (live in CI not some foreign place) then they left FB for me slating me and moaning about the neutral FB.

So, as a seller - would you say I was wrong in this and if so why?

I am clearly not reading the same post. I see no accusation at all. So yes, you are getting narky.

Sellers aren't allowed to leave false positives, if you report it to ebay then it should be removed.
