Can the person who deleted Oldernotwiser accusing me of being sacked for theft PM please.
Ive taken the liberty of printing the thread before the deletion...just for a hard copy you understand..
Internet defamation refers to false or reputation-harming statements made on the Internet. It is a specific form of defamation, which is a cause of action available when an individual makes an express or implied claim about someone that is designed to produce a negative reaction. In other words, if Joe falsely claims Sally is a thief on his web page, Sally could potentially sue for Internet defamation.
In order to make a case for Internet defamation, the standard elements of defamation must be proven. There are two different tests to determine whether defamation occurred, depending on who is being defamed. Individuals are protected from defamation more so than companies or businesses. A private citizen who is defamed need only prove that the false and/or derogatory statements were made, and that he suffered harm to his reputation as a result.0 -
Hiya stuart30, This thread has suddenly gone very quiet!!!
I've been looking at funding on my local college website and it has 2 categories, free funding or reduced fees for level 2 or level 3 courses. You can qualify for these if, you are on JSA or ESA {just need a letter confirming this}or If you are on housing/council tax benefit or income support.
There is also an adult learning grant of £30 per week for a full-time course.
Does your local college not offer the same help? Worth having another look on the funding page?

I am really shaking in my shoes now!
You certainly posted at length about being in the process of being sacked for theft although I see now that you've deleted all these posts. If your ex employers decided not to pursue it then that's great.
You've had my post deleted which is fine by me and obviously sets the record straight. Move on.0 -
Ok, Old government spent millions on the unemployed, lots of money for training courses, adviser discretion fund spent like it was dishing out lolly pops. Looking at the figures these people who had all this money signed off but were back within weeks and still there now.
New government is no spend get tough approach. Like most people you have to start at the bottom , get a job, save, do course, find a better job!
Don't think you will sit on JSA tough government stricter benefit regime is about the only thing jobcentre have now so. Staff are keen to keep their job so it's not what can I do to help you find work, it's what have you done to get yourself a job and if it's not good enough no benefit0 -

Ive looked on college websites and phoned them....seems there's no funding available what so ever.
Its a level three course i was looking into...i"ll not give up,if need be i"ll have too save up each week.
Actually Busy mom...while i agree with some of what you say, there not that strict..ive appealed my ESA decison and ther EARLIEST the tribunioal will be is 1st March 2011.
Thats another 5 months of ESA if i want it,on top of the 7 months ive had so far...even im shocked how long i have too wait, thats a heck of alot of tax payers money.0 -
I am `pickier` than most about spelling ( balanced by the fact my maths is bad!) but I am not impressed by the tone of this thread.
It sounds as tho` everyone should have their posts scrutinized before posting to achieve 100% perfect grammar. If I had replied to posts and continually criticized the OP`s language then people who are distressed /crying would never post.
I think there needs to be some balance here please before it just degenerates into a cat fight!0 -

Were way past the cat fights....oldernotwiser didn't help by spouting very naughty things without having anything too back up his claims.
Agree...spelling is important as is grammar, but once its been highlighted fine move on.
I do wonder how many genuinely needy people out there who desperately need help don't post through fear of being belittled and made fun of by cowardly under achievers as seen in this thread.?0
