got mine a few days ago, and to be honest i can see why the film is only 3.99 it is rubbish, not the actual quality of the DVD, i mean the actual film, but that is neither here nor there.
how many people do you think haven't got them?0 -

If you open the email and check who it's from, you can verify this.

I ordered mine later than most on 10th October, received despatch confirmation on 14th and it has arrived today. Mine cost £2.99 as I had a special order code to use as well.

No, like i said, all my previous correspondance has been from reply@cd-wow.com not michelle@cd-wow.com, anyway, i replied saying that the address was already obviously on my account and didn't give it again, then got a reply saying
"We are still investigating why this order has not arrived.
I will be in touch again as soon as I have further information for you"
I think this response is unprofessional, i would expect them to aim to alleviate any further disappointment by acting to fix the problem promptly, not keep me waiting idle
Really disappointed with the service given to me and all you lot in the same situation, I hope they hurrry up and meet these orders, i keep hearing about supposed massive theft and fraud going on in the mail system, maybe that has something to do with it?0 -

Hi Marquez - funny you should say that 'cos, having recieved an identical email this morning and seeing that other people are still getting their ordered dvds (thanks Welsh-Dragon!), I was wondering exactly that. :think:
There are far too many scumbags out there in our own postal system that wouldn't hesistate to nick anything that might benefit them. Wonder what's it like in HK? If cdwow have had a large batch go walkies then perhaps we're just the unlucky ones. Having said that, if that's the case, they should realise that it's got nothing to do with us and get on with some compensation/replacement without further ado!

Surely they can see theres no big scam going on here and that buyers have genuinely had items go missing.
Thanks to those still posting that they have received their dvds ordered later than most. That fact may come in useful as a bargaining tool if there are any (further) problems.0 -

Thank you for contacting us although we are sorry to hear that your King
Kong DVD has not arrived.
After further investigation, we have discovered that one particular batch of
King Kong orders dispatched that day has gone missing in transit (between
airports) and whilst this is beyond our control, we are obviously very sorry
for the inconvenience and aggravation caused.
This has only affected a small percentage of customers who ordered this
particular title and we can appreciate the disappointment caused.
Therefore we do ask you for your understanding in this matter and if you
would kindly confirm whether you would like the item resent (we have managed
to secure more stock which will be delivered into our warehouse by the end
of this week) or a refund, once we hear back from you we will action your
request.
In the event that the missing item turns up, please do let us know so that
we can arrange for you to return it.
Thank you for your understanding and co-operation in this matter.
